    -he contractor must have special care with the e+isting facilities during the

    e+cavation of the ditch to install a new pipeline' 3nd consider in all time the use of

    appropriate e:uipment in each task of the pro/ect'

    -he pipeline loops shall be designed and constructed with the appropriate number

    of mainline valve assemblies 4MIV;s7 together with their associated operators

    including remote monitoring and local and remote control capability, pig launching

    and receiving assemblies, blow oL and pressure relief devices plus their associated

    controls'' -he work associated with the pipeline loops and the e+tension pipeline

    Cathodic Protection system

    -he contractor shall perform detail engineering, procurement, construction,

    !or the design of the athodic .rotection )ystem power supply, the

    contractor shall conduct a *eld survey in order to guarantee the supply of

    electricity at a voltage of 220&2> V3 for the correct operation of recti*ers,

    re:uired for complete cathodic protection of the pipeline loops, properly

    integrated with the e+isting Energa Mayakan )ystem'

    Superisory Control and Data Ac!uisition System "SCADA#

    -he ontractor shall be responsible for the design, engineering, procurement,

    construction, testing and commissioning of a )3"3 system as well as its

    integration to the e+isting )3"3 Master )ystem 4M7located at the ompany;s

    oQces in Merida, Nucatan and the )3"3 back@up system 497 located at )O&'

    -he )3"3 system design and e:uipment shall match as closely as possible the

    necessary materials according with the calculations of the antennas and theminimal bandwidth re:uired to route the )3"3 data from Main Iine Valve )tations

    to Mayakan master backup )3"3 )ystem in e+isting control rooms in Merida,

    NucatSn and Macuspana, -abasco'

    E. contractor shall verify e+isting e:uipment, and con*gure software or furnish

    additional hardware and cables, in e+isting Mayakan ontrols Aooms 4Macuspana

    and MTrida7 in order to integrate and receive the )3"3 signals from Main Iine

    Valves )tations' -otal integration shall be performed by E. contractor'

    3ll telecommunications e:uipment like dish antenna supports, communications

    cables, cabinets, cable trays and patch panels shall be grounded to the generalgrounding system, in order to reduce failures by surge discharging phenomena and

    electric anomalies'

    !or electronic systems and telecommunications network ontractor shall design an

    independent grounding power system, as described in the

    -he ontractor shall be responsible for procurement, import and duties of all

    materials and e:uipment necessary for the implementation of the .ro/ect'

    -his shall include all administration services necessary for specifying and ordering

    of materials, :uality control and inspections, e+pediting and transportation,

    including arranging for and paying for transportation of all materials as re:uired'

    ontractor shall be responsible for all customs clearance and payments re:uired'

    3ll materials and e:uipment to be installed as part of this pro/ect shall be new andunused'

    Spare Parts

    -he ontractor shall be responsible for the provision of spare parts for pre@

    commissioning, commissioning, system start@up and performance tests' ontractor

    shall provide a list of operational spare parts'
