Shri Krishna Lilamritam, in Hindi (10th Canto, Srimad Bhagavatam)

Speaker: Param Pujya Shri Shastriji, HARI Temple

What is Purushottam (Adhik) Mas? The lunar calendar adds an extra month every third year. This extra month is known by various names: Adhik Mas, Mal Mas, Purushottam Mas, Malimmacha, etc. Religious Significance: Adhik Mas Vrat is capable of washing away all the sins of devotees who observe this Vrat. During this month, mukta, nakta, and fasting are undertaken and food, garments, etc. are distributed to needy people or via charities. The Puranas also sing high praises about Adhik Mas and suggest puja, readings of scriptures, and performing selfless actions during this month. Adhik Mas is the month for Vishnu puja; hence, the recitations of Srimad Bhagavat Purana and Bhagavad Gita

during this month produce top meritorious results. This year, the Adhik Mas starts on May 17, 2007 and ends on June 15, 2007. HARI Temple has organized Shri Krishna Lilamritam during the Adhik Mas as follows:

The HARI temple was founded in 1975 and serving the Indian Community from Harrisburg, Lebanon, Hershey, York, Lancaster and entire region for last 32 years. The entire temple was built from the community donation without any loan or debt. The temple administration and HARI School run by the community volunteers in the Committee and the dedicated HARI school directors and teachers.

The HARI temple is our home away from home and supports us in our good or bad time. This is the place where we meet and celebrate our festivals and culture with freedom. This is the place where our children learn about their religion and traditions. This is the place where we celebrate our children’s first B’day, graduation, marriage, baby shower and so on. Your membership will help us support the temple’s operational expenses. Each new member encourages us volunteers to work hard and serve better. Do you think you can support this divine place by becoming a member?

On behalf of HARI Executive Committee 2007, I kindly request to all who are not HARI members to fill out a membership form below and send it with your payment to HARI temple address at your earliest convenience.
