Admission will be $6 per day for spectators. There is NO weekend pass.

A full concession bar will be available at Metro State with hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, candy, and more.

ONE COACH FROM EACH TEAM MUST CHECK‐IN ON FRIDAY OR SATURDAY.

IF YOUR FIRST GAME IS AT LAKEWOOD OR MANUAL YOU CAN GET YOUR SHIRTS ON SATURDAY.

Please do not have parents or players at the check‐in table. Please have your roster form completed, balance due (if any) and player

insurance information on waiver sheet. At this time the coach will receive t-shirts and a coach’s gift. T‐shirt policy is spelled out

below.

3) T‐shirt policy Once checked‐in at the registration table, Shirts and Coach’s Gift (dri-fit) will only be given to the coach.

Assistant Coaches can get a t-shirt as well, but we do not have enough dri-fit shirts for each head coach and his assistant(s).

4) Format/Number of Games Each team will play a minimum of five games.

We will have the following divisions: Big School Varsity, Small School Varsity

Some teams will play 3 pool play games; others will play 4 pool play games. However, every team will get at least five games. A

few notes on scheduling:

We made every attempt to satisfy the time requests of specific teams. This came above all.

Every effort was made to keep teams from the same league playing each other.

We attempted to ensure you wouldn’t play the same team from the 2014 Team camp.

We wanted to ensure that two teams from the same school wouldn’t play each other in the tournament. All time requests were to be made prior to Friday May 22.

Understand that schedule changes week of tournament due to last minute time requests will not be made.

5) Officiating We take pride in having the best officiated team camp.

For this weekend, we are having the WAC women’s camp ran by Dave Hall. 100% of the games will be officiated by 3 man crews.

If you have a problem with officiating during the tournament, please see the Tournament Director before confronting the official.

Parents with officiating & scorekeeping concerns will be directed to their respective Coach.

Parents who confront officials will be asked to leave the gym by tournament director.

If a parent is being disrespectful to the officials or opposing team, officials are instructed to first ask the HEAD COACH of the team to handle the issue.

If it does not get handled, and the actions continue, the parent(s) will be escorted from the gym.

We hate to spend time on this, but please manage your parents the best you can so the officials and tournament directors do not have to.

6) What to bring Reversible jerseys (light and dark) that include the player’s numbers. Home team wears light color.

Completed team roster. Please make sure your players have included their insurance information.

Entry fee balance, if it has not already been paid. Please call if you need your balance.

Coaches will be responsible for bringing their own basketballs.

7) Late Start/Forfeit Policy Teams may start a game with 4 players. If a team has 4 players and it is game time, they MUST start.

If a team is running late it will be considered a forfeit if they arrive 15min after game time.

All issues involving starting late will be handled by tournament director

8) Trainer There will be one trainer at the site to tend to injured players. Trainers are not there to stretch players.

If one of your players wishes to be taped, they must provide their own athletic tape and prewrap!

9) Parking

Unfortunately, we do not control parking on the campus. We cannot validate parking, or assume responsibility if anyone receives a

ticket. There is no free parking anywhere on campus on Friday and Saturday. However, SUNDAYS ARE FREE TO PARK

ANYWHERE.

10) Gatorade

For the 3rd

straight year, Gatorade is sponsoring our team camps.

There will be post game recovery drinks provided to each team after games.

Please monitor your players that they are respectful and only take one per player, and throw their trash away.

This is a great opportunity for us as a camp to have this sponsorship and we want to make sure that the players understand and respect

it, and we need your help!

Derrick Clark – Head Coach

Adam Wall – Assistant Coach

Michael Bahl – Assistant Coach

Taylor Harris – Assistant Coach

Tyler Cooper – Assistant Coach

Game Rules Pregame: Teams may start a game with 4 players. If a team has 4 players and it is game time, they MUST start. If a team is running late, it will be considered a forfeit if they arrive 15min after game time. Home Team: The team listed first on the schedule will be the HOME team on the scoreboard and wear white/light uniforms. Warm-‐ups: 3 minutes minimum Game time: 20 minute halves, running clock except:

• 1st Half: Clock will stop on all whistles in last 30 seconds regardless of score • 2nd Half: Clock will stop on all whistles in the last 2 minutes when the lead is 10 or less points

Half time: 3 minutes Overtime: 2 minute with stopped clock. If the score is still tied at the end of overtime, we will play sudden death. The first team to score wins (this includes free throws!). Overtime and sudden death periods will start with a jump ball. No additional timeouts will be given for overtime. Time outs: Each team is allowed 3 timeouts per game. Timeouts will be 45 seconds in length. Clock will stop for all timeouts. Fouls: Bonus will be after the 7th team foul of each half. Double bonus will be after the 10th team foul of each half. Individual players will be disqualified after the 5th personal foul. All other NFHS Colorado High School rules apply. Free Throws: The clock will not stop, unless a technical foul has been given or it is the last 30 seconds of 1st half or in the last 2 minutes of the game with 10 points or less differential. Technical Foul:

• If technical is on a Coach, that Coach must remain seated the duration of the game. • If a second technical foul is given to the coach, the coach will be escorted out of the gym. • If a second technical foul is given to the player, the player will be ejected from the game. • Two free-‐throws plus the ball will be awarded to the opposite team. • The clock will stop once the official calls the foul and remain stopped as the two free throws are in progress. Clock will begin

running when the team shooting inbounds the ball at mid-court.

Pool Play Tiebreakers: 1. Two teams: Winner of head to head competition. 2. Three or more teams: Head to Head if applicable, then point differential of like opponents. The point differential breaks the 3 way tie, and then for the remaining two teams head to head will determine seeding. 3. For pools of 3, only games within your pool count for seeding. Cross pool games do not count towards seeding. There is a 15 point +/- maximum in point differential. i.e. If you win by 35, it counts as +15. The tournament directors have the final say in any rule or tie breaker dispute.
