June Program and possible workshop:

Our June program will be on Seminole

Patchwork, using the book Basic Seminole

Patchwork by Cheryl Greider Bradkin. In order

not to break copyright laws, I encourage all who

want to try their hand at creating Seminole

patchwork to obtain a copy of the book. It is still

available at various online sites. . We have 13

signed up so far for the workshop. Please call,

email, or let Cindy know by the May meeting if

you are interested. THANKS!

Pat Smith passed out the "Challenge" fabric at

the March meeting for those who want to

participate. We will be making a "Quilt of Valor"

this time. The ideal size is 60 X 80. It can be no

smaller than 55 X 65 and no larger than 72 X 90

according to official QOV requirements. It is due

at the August meeting.

Cheese Bread sticks

1 (10 oz.) can pizza dough

3 Tablespoons butter, melted

1 clove finely minced garlic

1 cup mozzarella grated cheese

1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

garlic salt

Preheat the oven to 425. Mix the melted butter and minced garlic in a

small bowl and set aside. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the pizza dough onto the parchment paper and brush with the butter/garlic mixture.

Sprinkle cheeses and basil evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with garlic salt.

Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips horizontally and then down the middle vertically.

(Don't separate pieces!) Bake 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and

cookie sheet. Re-cut along each strip.
