1“Judge not, that you be not judged.

2For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

3Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

4Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye?

5You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

1And the LORD sent Nathan to David. He came to him and said to him, “There were two men in a certain city, the one rich and the other poor.

4Now there came a traveler to the rich man, and he was unwilling to take one of his own flock or herd to prepare for the guest who had come to him, but he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him. ”

5Then David's anger was greatly kindled against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As the LORD lives, the man who has done this deserves to die,

7Nathan said to David, “You are the man! Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.

8And I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your arms and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah. And if this were too little, I would add to you as much more.

9Why have you despised the word of the LORD, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

10Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife. ’

Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.

7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

8For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

9Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?

10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent?

11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

18A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.

20Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Your name, and do many mighty works in Your name? ’

fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

25And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

26And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.

27And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it. ”

Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and does them, I will show you what he is like:
