Inputs:8 Input groups. Each Input Group consists of Component Video (YPrPb) and Audio inputs: analog L,R plus digital PCMEach Input Group consist of 6 discrete Inputs:

Video:Three BNC jacks Component Video (YPrPb)1 V p-p @ 75 Ohm terminatedComposite Sync on “Y”.

Audio:Analog: 2 BNC jacksHigh Impedance Line type inputsLeft and Right inputs.

Digital:1 BNC jackStandard Digital PCM.

Accepted Scanning:All known video types accepted: 50 Hz or 60 Hz refresh: 480I, 576I, 480P, 576P, 1080I/540p, 720p;Input and Outputs - same scanning format;

Bandwidth:-3 db at 140 MHz, liner phase passband.

Video Gain:Unity X2 gain for YPrPb .

Matrix Switcher Characteristics:Size: 17" x 10" x 3 1/2".Weight: 10 lbs.Enclosure type: MetalRack mountable: Included Brackets, (2U high).Input Power: 100 to 240V AC, 0.9A.

Switching control:Via manual switches on front panel.Via Infra Red Remote.Pressing 2 digits on the remote couldperform the matrix switch operation. 1st digit identifies theoutput number from 1 to 3, 2nd digit identifies the input num-ber from 1 to 8. For example to switch Input 3 to output 2 theIR sequence is 2,3. Any of the input could be programmed tobe available on 1 or all 3 outputs simultaneously. Any of the 8inputs can be address to any of the 3 outputs independently.The switch settings for this mode is all 4 switches in the ONposition. (Default setting)

Via RS232 “DB9” remote control:

The RS232 control will perform identical function to the IRremote control. Sending 2 digits in the form of ASCII charac-ters could perform the matrix switch operation. . The switchsettings for this mode is all 4 switches in the ON position. Forsingle unit operation.

Front display contains 3 rows of 8 LED’s each. Each ROWwill correspond to each output. For example 2nd inputconnected to 1st output will light up 2nd LED in the 1st row.1 LED will be always ON per each ROW. Front panel willhave 3 LED’s always ON identifying input # connected toeach of the 3 outputs.

For more then 1 unit in the same room, the units have a 4position dip switch which gives the units a unique address.The addressing information is silkscreened on the bottom ofthe unit. In this mode, this switcher responds to a 4 digitcode. The 1st 2 digits represent the unit number, the 3rdrepresents the output number and the 4th represents theinput number. This operates this way for both IR and RS232control.
