!   A few years back, I realized I didn't know how to ASK the universe what I wanted, so how could I FEEL and then RECEIVE my gifts?

!   When you ASK the Universe what you want, the next steps are FEELING and RECEIVING your wish. When you ASK, you need to know exactly what you want. If you leave it open to interpretation the Universe will do what it's meant to do, get you want you asked for as quickly as possible.

!   When you’re not clear, the Universe will do what it can to get a clear answer to give you what you want as quickly as possible. From placing people in your path to opening doors you thought were permanently closed.

You're probably wondering, how do I know if I'm asking correctly? Here are the 3 ways that helped

me focus my ASKing!

Focus Tip 1 Are you being specific or too general?

!   Imagine going to a restaurant and asking the waitress for Eggs and Potatoes. The waitress can't read your mind, she doesn't know if you want your eggs sunny side up, scrambled, etc. How do you want your potatoes? Hash style, baked, roasted?

!   When asking the Universe, do your best at specifying what you want this way you can focus your feelings and allow yourself to be open to receive your request.

Let’s Break It Down !   Example of a Want: Universe, I want a brand new 2-Story House

in the suburbs of Orlando, FL with wood flooring in the interior and a beautifully green landscaped lawn.

!   In this example I asked the universe specifically for a brand new 2-story house in the suburbs of Orlando, FL. I know where I want to live and the type of house I want to live in. If I would have left out the city, the Universe will do what it can to find me a brand new 2-Story House in the suburbs with wood flooring and a great lawn but it could be in another state or even country. And that may not be exactly what I wanted.

!   This is where that old saying, "Careful what you wish for, you just might get it!" comes in. When you're specific to what you want, you leave little room for error, and the Universe can deliver your actual request.

Focus Tip 2 Do Your Homework

!   It goes without saying, when you're asking for something like a house, a car, etc. that knowing what you truly want is a pre-requisite before you ask the Universe.

!   How are you going to apply your feelings to the house that you want when you can't even picture it in your mind? Much less write down your feelings on paper. Check out sites with houses, in the neighborhoods that you want and use those tools to help you focus your positive thoughts and feeling on what you are preparing to ask for!

Focus Tip 3 WRITE it down!

!   Nothing feels more concrete than the commitment of writing your intentions down on paper. It gives you the sense of it being "official"! Write down what you want and remember to be as specific as you can. All you're doing is weeding out the "guesses" the universe has to make. You don't have to write down ALL the details, just the most important ones like I mentioned in Focus Tip 1.

!   I created the Great Secret of Life Journal because it became the resource I needed to write down what I wanted, the feelings that went along with it and allowed me to create an impactful vision board right in my journal.

Be specific, do your homework and write it down!

Remember, be careful what you wish for you just might get it!
