EatAlthough Milan is more often thought of as a fashion hub than a food hub, Milan offers some local specialties like the risotto alla milanese (made with beef stock and bone marrow, and coloured with saffron), and the cotoletta alla milanese (thin breaded veal cutlets traditionally fried in clarified butter with the bone in).

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

SeeThe Duomo di Milano is the largest cathedral in Italy. Head to the roof for a breathtaking view and admire some of the 135 brilliant marble spires and 3,600 statues that accentuate this Gothic cathedral. For a break from churches and museums, stroll along one of the Navigli waterways lined with cafes, vintage shops, galleries and even an antiques market.

Duomo di Milano

DoMilan is a fashion shopper’s paradise, and there is perhaps no better place to indulge than the famed Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a magnificent shopping arcade and an extraordinary feat of architecture melding beauty, art and luxury under a glass roof.

MILANGlobal capital of

fashion and designFamed for its stunning streets, designer shops and chic places to eat and stay,

Milan is in fact the heart of Italy’s economy and finance, and overall a symbol of productivity within the country. The city’s dynamism is

manifested in its numerous art and cultural events, animated nightlife and

sporting activities. One of the Navigli waterways
