TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — Peter is an eyewitness: The Lord is risen (Acts 10:34a, 37‐43). Psalm — This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad (Psalm 118). (1) Second Reading — All who are baptized, set your hearts in heaven (Colossians 3:1‐4) or (2) Second Reading — Christ our Passover is sacri‐ficed; therefore let us celebrate (1 Corinthians 5:6b‐8). Gospel — Three witnesses, Mary, Peter, and John; each re‐sponds to the empty tomb (John 20:1‐9) or Mark 16:1‐7 (or, at an afternoon or evening Mass, Luke 24:13‐35).

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION
“This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad.” Of all days during our Church year, this is the holiest. It is on this day that we celebrate Christ’s Resurrection and our salvation. As Catholics we are all called to holiness, and today is the day on which we can respond to that call most enthusiastical‐ly.
Jesus is with us today, and He is with us through the Eucharist eve‐ry time we go to Mass. As we approach to receive Communion today, and every time we do so, we need to search our hearts. We must remember the suffering Jesus endured for us. He shed His blood so our souls could be spared. We each need to thank the Lord for giving us life and for providing us with the Holy Spirit to comfort and guide us.
Together we cry out “Alleluia!” St. Peter, in the opening of his first letter, put it this way: “Although you have not seen him you love him; even though you do not see him now yet believe in him, you rejoice with an indescribable and glori‐ous joy. (1 Peter 1:8) Christ is risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!

REFLECIÓN DOMINICAL "Este es el día que hizo el Señor. Gocémonos y alegrémonos. "De todos los días durante nuestro año de la Iglesia, este es el más sagrado. Es en este día que celebramos la Resurrec‐ción de Cristo y nuestra salvación. Como católicos estamos llamados a la santidad, y hoy es el día en que podamos re‐sponder a esa llamada con más entusi‐asmo.
Jesús está con nosotros hoy en día, y Él está con nosotros a través de la Eucaristía cada vez que vamos a misa. Al acercarnos a comulgar hoy en día, y cada vez que lo hace‐mos, tenemos que buscar en nuestros corazones. Debemos recordar el sufrimiento que Jesús soportó por nosotros. Él derramó su sangre para nuestras almas podría evitar. Cada uno de nosotros tenemos que dar gracias al Señor por habernos dado la vida y por darnos el Espíritu Santo a la co‐modidad y guiarnos.
Juntos gritamos "¡Aleluya" San Pedro, en la apertura de su primera carta, lo expresó así: "Aunque usted no lo ha visto usted lo ama; a pesar de que usted no lo ve todavía hoy creen en él os alegráis con un gozo inefable y glorioso. (1 Pedro 1: 8) ¡Cristo ha resucitado! ¡Aleluya! ¡Aleluya!

Adoración Eucarística El lunes 06 de abril 2015 tendremos la adoración al Santísimo Sacramento del Altar, desde las 9:00 am hasta las 5:00 pm. Oremos por nuestro obispo que toma posesión de la Diócesis el 15 de abril y para que nuestros sacerdotes sean más sabios y santos, y por las intenciones del Papa Francisco. Universal: La creación. Para que las personas aprendan a res‐petar la creación y a cuidarla como don de Dios. Por la Evangelización: Cristianos perseguidos. Para que los cristianos perseguidos sientan la presencia re‐confortante del Señor Resucitado y la solidaridad de toda la Iglesia.

Family Mental Illness Support Group Pain and suffering have come into your life, but remember pain, sorrow, suffering are but the kiss of Jesus—a sign that you have come so close to him that he can kiss you.

Come share, pray and support families who have a love one with a brain disorder. Spend time with people who under‐stand mental illness. The group meets the fourth Thursday of the month ay 7 Pm in the St. James Gathering Room. St James is a place of support and community. Come to the Shed Dedication on Saturday, April 18th. There’ll be a brief ceremony for our new donation shed in the lower parking lot starting at 11 a.m. We’ll dedicate the shed to the memory of Laura Wagner who ran our donation and bread programs for years.
Everyone in the parish is invited. After Father John blesses the shed, we’ll install a memorial plaque and serve light re‐freshments.

Mission Circle People Helping People In Need
SEEKING Easter Sunday is a day all about seeking. The early Christian communities gathered around the Apostles, seeking more about the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus. Saint Paul told the baptized Colossians to “seek what is above.” Mary of Magdala went to the tomb, seeking to find the Lord’s body so that she could anoint it. We come to church on Easter Sunday seeking many things. For some of us, this is a once a year jour‐ney, when we seek connection with the foundations of the Christian faith. For others, this day is the culmina‐tion of a long journey of Lenten repentance. For the newly baptized, this is the first day of a new life filled with promise and expectation. Whatever it is that we seek, let us be inspired by the disciple whom Jesus loved who, when he saw the wrappings of cloth inside the empty tomb, “saw and believed.”

Tax Assistance St. James Church is again sponsoring free income tax assis‐tance for 2014 Federal and California returns. Under the aus‐pices of the AARP Tax‐Aide program, this free tax‐preparation service is available to low‐and middle‐income taxpayers, with the primary focus being on those who are 60

St. James—St. Leo Catholic Community is under the pastoral care of the Eudist Fathers, or Congregation of Jesus and Mary. We owe our name to Saint John Eudes who founded the Congregation in France in 1643. The Eudists currently operate in 15 countries, most of which are in the developing world. Evangelization, mainly with the poor and the youth, is our primary purpose, as well as formation to ministry in the
