. ROSARY SOCIETY ATLANTIC CITY TRIP
The Rosary Society of St. Thomas Aqui-nas Parish runs a trip to Resorts Casino in Atlantic City on the FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH. The bus leaves from in front of the Church ( 1550 Hendrickson Street, between Flatlands Avenue & Ave-nue P ) at 8:30am. The cost of this is $40.00, which includes a bagel for break-fast and a $30.00 bonus from the Casino. The next trip is scheduled for Thursday, December 7, 2017. COMMUNION TO THE HOMEBOUND
If you know a parishioner who is unable to attend mass on the weekend, or are una-ble to attend yourself, please contact Fr. Clifford at 718-253-4404. Fr. Clifford will arrange a visit and then assign an Extraor-dinary Minister of Holy Communion to visit on a regular basis. Homebound parishion-ers are very grateful to be able to receive communion in their homes. Please keep our homebound members in your prayers.
CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON The Rosary Society is sponsoring a Christmas Luncheon at “Nora’s Park Bench” on (Quentin Road and Marine Parkway ) on Sunday , December 10, 2017 at 1:00pm. MUSIC MINISTRY NEWS There will be an Advent program of Les-sons and Carols (scripture readings and hymns) with the Adult Choir on Saturday, December 16 at 7:30 pm in the church. All are invited. The Adult, Chil-dren’s and Hand Bell choirs are preparing for the Advent and Christmas seasons. If an-yone would like to join in singing or play-ing for these special occasions, please see Mr. Jim Millen, Music Director, at the organ after any of the weekend Masses. The Adult Choir will be singing at the Christmas Eve Midnight Mass. There will a program of Christmas carols and an-thems before the Mass, beginning at 11:30 pm. Also, at the Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, and at the 11:30 am Mass on Christ-mas Day, the liturgy will be enhanced by a brass quartet
