3. Product Description
BASICUSESPECMIXSCGSPECMIX SelfConsolidatingGrout (SCG) is adry,preblended,cement-basedgroutusedtobondadjacentmasonryunits,fillbondbeams,andoccupyallareasaroundsteel reinforce-mentinmasonryassemblagecores.Suitedforboth low-andhigh-liftapplications,SPECMIXSCG is ideal for grout lifts greater than 5'(1.5m).SPECMIX SCG delivers outstanding fluidity
and increased cohesion over conventionalcorefillgrout, withexcellentresistancetofluidgrout mix segregation. It easily fills masonrycoreswithoutvoidsandwithnoconsolidationeffort (mechanical vibration), even aroundheavilycongestedreinforcingsteelandotherobstructions.
SPECMIXCoreFillGroutSPECMIXCoreFillGroutisadry,preblendedmixwithhighflow.Formulatedtofillmasonryvoids,itmeetsASTMC476requirementsforreinforcedmasonryconstruction.SPECMIXCoreFillGroutisa fluidcementitiousmaterial thatbondsadja-centmasonry units and steel reinforcement in
the cores of masonry units to the masonryassemblage. It can also be used to reinforcebondbeams. Used in conjunctionwithexistingreinforcement, SPEC MIX Core Filll Grout pro-ducesastructurally soundfinalwall systemforreinforcedmasonryconstruction.
COMPOSITION&MATERIALSSPECMIXproductsareproducedunderstrictmanufacturing standards, with completequality control measures implemented foreverybatch.SPEC MIX products are locally manufac-
