And then we get ready for the end of the year celebrations with the End of Year Awards and Christmas Party on Saturday 14th December

Keira McLeod Clinic 14th and 15th September Six riders attended each day with Flatwork on Saturday and Polework on Sunday. Some participants had previously had lessons with Keira, but others had not been coached by her before. Those riders gave very positive reports and expressed interest in having more lessons with Keira. Thank you to Petrea Bates for coordinating the clinic and taking photos.

Spring Show - 29th September All seemed to agree that this was a very enjoyable show, and there were very
encouraging comments on the MARC facebook page. Almost thirty equines were entered with a particularly strong line-up in the Show Horse Hacks. While there were a good number of young riders, it seems they had mostly graduated from ponies onto larger horses, and only two ponies attended, but the galloway classes were well supported. Thank you to judges Cate Puschmann and Deonnie Whitaker, who requested a good
variety of work-outs, and whose deliberations were well received.

Kirsty Mason on Tahiti, Champion Show Horse Rosie Williams and Perfectly Plain won several Hack, with Karl Dunning on Currahee Minstrel, ribbons and were happy to win a well deserved Reserve, and judge Cate Puschmann Encouragement sash

Shane Goodrum Show Clinic – 28th September Half a dozen participated in this clinic, and all appreciated his interest and attention to detail. Shane divided them into two groups of three, and the clinic ran from 9am until 4pm, with showing for Led classes in the morning, and Ridden workouts in the afternoon. (Unfortunately no photos from that clinic!)
Aliana Rogers had a very successful show. She won Supreme Champion Rider and… Her pony Pacific View Signature won Reserve Champion Led Hunter, Champion Ridden Pony, and placed 2nd in the ridden Pleasure Show Horse / Hunter class. Her Currajon Dusty Diamond (Left) won Open Hunter Hack Gelding, Open Small Hunter Hack, Champion Hunter, and Supreme Champion Ridden Exhibit. He also won the Handy Show Horse / Hunter and came 3rd in the Best Educated Show Horse / Hunter. Congratulations to Aliana, and her parents Michelle and David, for always presenting such beautiful and well trained / well behaved equines, and for always being such pleasant and appreciative competitors.

MARC is not responsible for the fees at the Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park (MSEP). These are set by the Fraser Coast Regional Council. To book and/ pay for stables/yards, cleaning bonds, facility fees and camping. www.nominate.com.au/stables/msep.asp Payment by credit/debit card.
Fees until 30 June 2019: • Camping Fees:
$20.40 per site per night (maximum 2 nights unless staying for an event at MSEP) • Equestrian Facility Fees: $7.80 per horse per day when riding anywhere on the grounds OR $100.00 “Season Pass” per person for 12 months from the date of payment, and $50.00 per person for any additional family members. • Stable/Yard Fees: $7.80 per stable/yard from 6am to 6am or part thereof $23.00 per stable/yard cleaning bond payable in advance (refunded if stable is left clean) $11.30 per stable/yard cleaning fee payable in advance (optional – no cleaning bond required)
