Students were able to witness and join in traditional Indigenous dance and also had the opportunity to learn about Aboriginal artifacts and tools. Personal Learning Plan Meetings PLP meeting forms were sent home last week. These meetings are a follow up to the meetings that took place in Term 1. Classroom teachers, parents and students will work together in evaluating previous goals and developing new learning goals. Please complete your form and return it to school at your earliest convenience. Pop-up Canteen Today the P&C held their final pop-up canteen for Term 2. Students have enjoyed the opportunity of being able to pur- chase food in this setup. The canteens have been very suc- cessful and will be continuing on a fortnightly basis during Term 3. Take Off Marulan Public School invites all children starting Kindergarten in 2020 to join our ‘Take Off’ program. Sessions will begin on Monday August 19 from 9:30-10:30am. If you would like any further information, please contact the office. SAFE RESPECTFUL RESPONSIBLE

P&C News

FATHERS' DAY

In preparation for Father’s Day, a book of ten raffle tickets ($1 per ticket) will be sent home with all families next

week. Additional books will be available at the office should you wish to sell more tickets. Not only is this a per-

fect opportunity to win an awesome prize for a loved one but it also supports our P&C Association in raising

funds for our children and their school.

The raffle will be drawn on Friday 16th August 2019 at the Marulan Public School assembly. Please return all tick-

ets (sold or unsold) to the office by 9th August 2019 so that all tickets can be added and no one misses out on

these fantastic prizes! Winners for the 2019 P&C Father’s Day Raffle will be able to collect their prize on the day

or from the school's front office. If you are lucky enough to win 1st prize we will organise collection of firewood.

Prizes to be won: 1St Prize : Trailer load of firewood 2nd & 3rd Prize: A choice of a gift pack

FATHERS' DAY STALL We will also be providing all children an opportunity to purchase something special to show their appreciation to their loved ones on Friday 30th August 2019 (Price range will be provided at a later stage).
