STUDIO FX | Director of production

We can say that Marko Badovinac practically grew up in a cinema. As a child, he spent most of his time at the Cinema Koper, where his mother was employed.

In 1999, flies to UNITED STATES OF AMERICA for the first time for the period of training work on Disney and continued to work until the year 2002 in DISNEY Cruise line.

AWARDSIn 2003, he returned to Slovenia and produced and directed his first film. Action film called MILO ZA ŽAJFO was awarded at 12th "Independent Film Festival in Slovenia and introduced in Europe in most film festivals. Credits: Producer, Director, screenplay and editing.

New York Film AcademyAfter his first film Marko again flies to the U.S. to study and expand his knowledge in 3D Animation at the NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY.

During this time he learned the most important 3D modeling and animation techniques in professional software Autodesk Maya (used in most 3D movies as Avatar, etc ...).

In 2006 he returned to Slovenia in Koper. During this period, directs and produces videos for DIFFERENT SLOVENIAN COMPANIES.

SUCCESSFUL PRODUCTIONSome of particular projects are successfully designed advertising spots for political propaganda in Slovenia, which have helped to get to victory in elections for the Mayor of city of Koper, Izola and Piran-Portorož. He has made commercials for a referendum, commercials and educational films for police, firefighters, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Port of Koper. All these spots used traditional techniques of video recording and 3D modeling and 3D animation.

FOR THE FULFILMENT and realization of different projects, he established network of independent digital artists from around the world with currently 30 digital artists available..

Reference showcase:

Realization of the demonstration moviefor Fire fighting Brigade of Koper

to inform the public about the

work of firefighters in Slovenia and

to assist in recruiting new fire

fighters.

Scenes were filmed on real

locations outside the fire brigade,

the rescue operations such as

aviation accident, sea and rail

accidents, as well

as fires and other ecological

disasters.

The realization of the corporate

movie for 60 anniversary of the

Fire Brigade Koper.

In this spot he demonstrated the

operation of the brigade over time,

through archival footage and

photographs and 3D

animation and advanced graphics.

Fire Brigade Koper got a modern

presentational film.

3D: A new firehouse was

successfully built in 3D, in order to

facilitate presentation of it.

Realization of corporate video

presentation for company SMT.

The video was made for the

needs of the major trade fairs

and was finished in just 3 days.

Video shows the entire

production, from Engineering to

packaging. The purpose of the

video was company presentation

for business partners and

publicity at trade fairs.

SMT is one of the largest

companies in Europe for the

production of software for

calculating the television

audience.

Cinetech is one of the four

largest companies in the world

for the production technology for

making films. For the Italian

company, we have made:

The video was filmed in full HD

resolution with the Red camera

and a Canon 7D.

New corporate logo was made for

Cinetech, showing an

iconographic reference, creating

a superior, high quality,

movement and dynamics.

CEDLINE SRL, Gorizia - Italy

Contabilità facile - Simply Accounting is the first and only service provider in Italy, which provides management accounting "easy" online with the assistant accountant.

Which simply means that the account can be inserted even for those who are unfamiliar with accounting.

For CEDLINE - service provider,

we have made three video clips

in the style of an interview with

the project manager, chief

programmer and assistant

accountants.

Spot for European

championship

Laser 4.7, which was held in

Slovenia.

Laser 4.7, 4.7 m² boat is also used

in Olympic competitions and the

discipline which requires a lot of

athletic training.

For the purpose of video recordings,

was needed at various locations on

the water with boats, on land and

by air. Certain

human resources were also images

of sailing athletes themselves, for

the more dynamic of final product

Emphasis was also on the natural

beauty of the Slovenian Istria and

also focus on tourism promotion.

Action film

"Milo za žajfo"

Awarded at 12th Independent Film Festival in Slovenia

It was presented at many film

festivals in Europe.

The film was the debut for

Marko.

In the film, scenes were shot

throughout the coast, and inside

the Port of Koper. The story talks

about the business

relationships between partners

and deceit and double game

between them.

The movie is filmed is dynamicly

edited, ranging from thriller,

action and to the love scenes.

Marko Badovinac took care of the

production, screnplay, editing

and directing.

elections.

Of particular importance are the

successful advertising spots for

political propaganda in Slovenia,

which have helped to get

to victory in elections for mayor

of Koper, Izola and Piran-

Portorož.

Different kind of video carried

out in the city of Koper for the

referendum to build a new

elementary school.

This same spot was used for the

referendum who helped

convincing a victory. 62.3% were

FOR.

Due to a convincing victory, to

thank the residents, Marko

created yet another short video,

which was presented at the

ceremonial opening of the new

elementary school in Koper.

For propaganda and educational purposes of

Police forces in Koper

The purpose of the film was for a

campaign for children, to aware

them to avoid drug use and violence

in schools, video also

presents police forces and the

presentation of their work, such as,

violation of law and order....

Employees were involved in the

film, in the police station Koper,

they also used police equipment.

We were entrust for production

of their new prototype co-

generational solar system.

From only two sketches we

managed to create 3D model of

the system in the house, animate

graphics and display it..

The project was completed in

one week for the purpose of fair

presentation.

sub-company of Mobitel.

For the purpose of advertising on

the website Planet. Portal, where

can Mobitel subscribers downloaded

games, music, news, videos, etc..

Production of the video was

created entirely with 3D technology

At the beginning of the video, the

logo created by a laser beam on

the surface of the red ball.

Letter P becomes an environment

in which camera moves and

creates different types of

advertising which Planet offers.

At the same time a 3D mobile

phone was reconstructed, which

shows towards the end of the

video that it is basically

everything going on in the phone

itself.

Koper(Port of Koper)

2007With 3D technology whole Luka Koper was reconstructed, infrastructures, road and rail links, vegetation, and all of port services.

Inside the port, in addition to all the ports infrastructure also cargo was made, containers, dry bulks, liquid, timber, food, cars...

Using 3D technologyWe clearly demonstrated both external and internal services.All activities are recorded in the nearby human resources and also on virtual aerial photographs.

Success StoryLuka Koper distributed more than 5,000 DVDs to their partners and potential clients.

Through these presentations there were realized new business such as: building a new terminal -port in the Black Sea;

construction of new terminal-port in Indonesia;

2009Luka Koper contacts us again to make DPN (national spatial plan) which has been fully reconstructed in 3D, based on the plans.

Demonstrational spot for a new

iron art sculpture for the Venice

Biennale to ordered by the the

world-famous Russian sculptor

Alexander Rukavishnikov.

Overall, the cross was made of

height 36 m and width 16 m. On

him a Jesus is placed on the side

facing Venice. The entire

sculpture is made up of

thousands of aluminum fishes.

On the chest sculpture has a

board on which there is a Latin

inscription "PASSUS EST PRO

VOBIS". Which roughly translated

means that he "sacrificed for us".

The artist wanted to show the

full performance by being placed

in the daily blackboard real

fish, which would keep the gulls

around feeding.

In addition to the model itself,

there is fully reconstructed pier

with boats and Venice in the

background.

Showing the size of people to

admire the sculpture he wanted

to show the size of the sculpture,

compared with humans.

What is Motion capture?

Terms Motion capture, motion

tracking, or mo-cap is used to

digitally capture the natural

movement.

These data are used to animate

3D models. The technology

detects and stores information on

the movement of the whole body,

together with your fingers

and facial expressions.

Motion capture technology

advantages. In the traditional

system of 3D animation

keyframe-based production time

is long and difficult. For more

advanced animation it may

require a month of work. The

Motion Capture animation can be

realized in real time, thereby

drastically reducing costs and

production time.

Using Motion Capture technology

there were animated different

characters.

For example, well known

television journalist,a rhinoceros,

skeleton, boxer, robot bird,

pirate...etc.
