Target audience • As a group we have to find the most effective ways to
market our film for our target audience. • Our target audience is male and females aged 16-25.
We have chosen this for our target audience because we think that this is the age range our film is aimed towards.• This is the age range that are most likely to be
interested in going to the cinema to watch new films and our film.
Social media • we think that social media is going to be a very
effective way to promote our film. This is because it is used so often and being users of social media we know that this is a quick way to target our audience. • We will use twitter, Facebook, Instagram and snap chat
to promote it.
YouTube• YouTube is a good way to advertise, on adverts we will
show a short clip of the film with a voice over to promote it. This means everyone on YouTube will be aware of the film.
Bus adverts • We think that bus adverts are going to be a good idea.
This is on the side of buses and also at the bus stops. This is because public transport is quite popular and when buses are driving around it will capture peoples attention.
Radio adverts • We think that radio adverts are a good way to advertise
to the target audience. This can be on our local radio as well as more popular stations such as capital FM and kiss FM. this is because our target audience are most likely to be listening to these radio stations and it is a good WAY TO PROMOTE THE FILM.
posters• We will make a range of film
posters to put up around Chelmsford and also we will hand them out in main locations of the city. Therefore we can DIRECTLY choose our target audience when handing out posters.• We have designed our own
film poster.
Cinemas • The final way we could potentially market the film is
showing a short clip in the cinema or putting up posters in the cinema. This can be our local cinemas such as Odeon in Chelmsford and Cineworld in Braintree.
