With sickness all around, I hope you have managed to stay healthy and strong! It’s been a tough season, especially with the flu going around, but we have a great opportunity to grow deeper in our faith and relationship with Christ! The BSM is in a time of transition. The inside of the BSM house is done, and we are ready to move back into it! That is happening within the week, so lunches and Bible studies will move to the BSM house. There is still some work to be done on the outside, but that can be done while we are in the building. We will schedule an open house soon so that everyone can see the house. We will find a suitable date and get the word out about that ASAP. But, it’s beautiful inside the house, and we are proud to call it ours! Lunches are going steady. We are feeding between 20-30 students and faculty at the moment, with plenty of room to grow. Word is getting out, but the weather has kept some from coming. Thank you again to everyone who has volunteered to help with our feeding program. We couldn’t do it without you! We are a month into Bible studies. We have a core group consisting of three young ladies who come on a regular basis. It is going very well, as we dig into God’s word and grow in our individual faith, and in fellowship with one another. Again, we are looking to grow, but certain factors have kept some students from coming. We are diligently working to address those needs in order to have as many students come as possible. Please continue to pray for this ministry as we attempt to bring the Good News to all the students and faculty at PJC. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and prayers, as you are the backbone of this ministry! In Christ, Josh Kirby BSM Director WMU Missions Project: PPCC Please return filled baby bottles to the RRVBA office by Monday, March 5 . FBC Clarksville will host a Safety and Security meeting on Friday, March 16 from 8:00 amNoon. The meeting is for law enforcement officers and church members, and will be presented by Marty Adcock from Advanced Law En- forcement Rapid Response Training.. Call Mark Gossett for more information at 903-427-2271 or 903-491-9221.

THE LOVE MONTH

February is known as the “Love Month” because of the Valentine’s Day focus. We buy gifts, candy, and cards to say “I love you” to those near and dear to our heart. It is at this special time of year we put our feet and our hands to our words! Why? We want to show our love not just say it! Words are backed up by thoughtful and at times sacrificial actions.

March 4-11 is our Week of Prayer for North American Missions and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. It is the time when Southern Baptist churches focus on sharing the love of God and the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ with those around us. North America is our Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria (Acts 1:8). Many of our churches have already received materials to conduct the Mission Study, to promote the mission emphasis, or to set an offering goal. However, we must do more than putting up fliers, handing out prayer guides and the special missions offering envelopes. We must do more than say we love missions! We must go into action, backing up our words by doing missions and becoming a missionary. Saying we love the lost is wonderful. However, doing the work of a missionary, sharing the love of Jesus and the plan of salvation with others will prove our love.

During the month of love let us tell people God loves them and so do we by validating that love with our prayers, giving, and witness! Saying I love you to Gency is good, but showing I love you to Gency is even better!

God’s Best,

Bro. Mike
