Future perspective
• The Surveillance system is easy to set in a Neonatal Unit.
• The system has shown an infection rate reduction.
• This pilot experience could be a reference for other Neonatal Units.
• The surveillance system will allow to evaluate future interventions in NICU’s to prevent nosocomial infections.
