Leemberg Pijpleidingen en Apparatenbouw BV was established in 1969 and has grown into a medium sized production company in the field of piping and machine manufacturing aimed at offshore, industry and maritime shipping.

REPAIROver 40 years of experience in repairing, renewing and modifying all kinds of piping systems for offshore, seafaring and inland ships (FSPO, dredgers, fish trawlers, cargo ships, pipe-laying vessels, pontoons, crane island, drill platforms, etc). We perform these activities both onshore and offshore.

Our activities occur at various repair docks and ship-owners both in the Netherlands and abroad during inactive moments, docking, active sailing or during any other opportunity. All activities are performed by expert with experience and certifications who are fully aware of quality and safety. (ISO 9001-2008 & VCA ** )

These persons are completely focussed on repair activities and are supported by an extensive supply of materials, so that fast and good service can also be provided at night and during the weekends.

HYDRAULICSWe prefab and install complete hydraulic systems for the seafaring and inland ships. Manufacturing special bulkhead throughputs, connecting power-packs, installing safety equipment, steering gear, winches and assembling gearboxes are no challenge to the experts of Leemberg.

We have seamless phosphate high pressure and low pressure pipes in various sizes and materials (among other, thick-walled pipes in inch-sizes) in our storage. The pipes are internally acidified and oiled and only need to be supplied with compression fitting or SAE-flanges to be assembled into a system.

Our machines can install fittings to a pipe using the most modern techniques. Some of the possible systems are the flare and walform method. Connections with welding cones are, naturally, no problem at all. We can also work on location using our flush units. We supply hydraulic hoses for all applications, each desired pressure and with all desired connections.

CONSTRUCTIONFor construction projects for seafaring and inland ships, we can manage the complete process from engineering, manufacturing, installation to commissioning, for complete piping systems for engine rooms, accommodations, fire extinguishing, grey and black water, hydraulics, thermogenic oil, ballast, fuel, cooling water or air.

Some examples of these kind of ships are: dredgers, cable-laying vessels, offshore vessels, backhoe dredgers, LNG tankers, passenger ships, dry cargo vessels, stainless steel tankers, chemical tankers, gas tankers, bunker ships, oil tankers, etc, etc.

For export or projects abroad, we supply the complete design and the necessary piping systems, complete with additions if desired, made out of carbon steel, stainless steel, cunifer, titanium, aluminium, composite , GRE and other occurring materials. These can then be installed on location by Leemberg or by our clients themselves.

Piping can be coated with a welding primer or a multilayer paint system and we can treat these pipes (thermal galvanising, rilsan, rubber, etc) for salt / cooling water before they are delivered our installed. Stainless steel pipes can be stained and passivation both internal and external.

We work with the demands / classifications of Lloyds, Germanic Lloyds, IMO, Norsok, DNV, Bureau Veritas and other inspection bodies

COMPOSITELeemberg is specialized in designing, (pre) fabricating and installing fibreglass reinforced, synthetic piping (Thermoharders, polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy) and synthetic piping systems (thermoplastic HDPE, PP, PP-R, PVDF, ABS and PVC, etc.) for the marine and offshore industries, as well as for the industrial sector. MANUFACTURINGThe prefab of piping systems, equipment and regulated skids for the industry, offshore, seafaring and inland ships, occurs in one of our own manufacturing halls. We have a manufacturing hall (ca 2500m2) for all occurring sorts of steel, a separate manufacturing hall with divided spaces for stainless steel (ca 800m2), (Super) duplex, cunifer, 254 SMO, titanium, copper and other exotic materials and a conditioned hall of 250 m2 for assembling skids.

The following welding processes are used: • GTAW (Tig)• GTAW Orbital (Orbital Tig)• GMAW ( Mig)• SMAW (electrical)• FCAW

Our Welding Method Qualifications, Welder Qualifications following EN and ASME are, of course, in order.

Dependent on the demands and desires of the customer, NDO can be applied to the welding seams.

When required, a so-called manufacturing book will be created, and dependent on the demands this can consist of: • Quality Inspection Plan (QIP)• Drawings / isometrics (with welding

and material numbers)• Material certificates• Welding and material lists (Line

Inspection Summery List, WPS, LMK’s, PQR’s )

• NDO reports• Pressure reports• Delivery confirmation

Leemberg has the certificate: Recertification of materials (Lloyd's certificate). Which allows us to restamp 3.1 and 3.2 materials without interference of a NoBo.
