The Jump-a-thon The Jump-a-thon

By Brayden and Julian

The new Miller playground costs $175,000. The school has just over $80,000 but they still need $95,000 more. The Miller play-ground will be nearly 4,500 square feet. There will still be more fund-raisers for the Miller playground. There will be a dodgeball tourna-ment, thank a teacher, spring fund-

raiser and maybe a fun run.

The Fish

By: P.J.

the bricks were around the school,

Chipmunks with Chase and Tristan. I went at 10:30 AM on Tuesday during February

vacation. We got lots of popcorn at the movies.

find their way back.

The Environment

By Sally Sousa

The environment is a special place for me and you. You do not want to liter because it is bad for the environment. It’s bad for you and me. It’s also a crime. Make sure to recycle. You should do good things to the earth. Then you

will get good things back.

Leprechauns

By Topher

Leprechauns are real. Sometimes they are invisi-

ble. They like gold.

They are fast. They are sneaky. If you put your shoes under your bed on St. Patrick’s Day, the lepre-chauns will put candy in

them

The Jump-a-thon

By: Sophia

The Miller play-ground is getting replaced with a new one. It cost a lot of money, so the third graders jumped rope for 2 hours. The second and first graders danced to 2 songs called “The Macarena” and “YMCA”. It was those 2 songs mixed up to-gether and then at the end of it we did a little choo choo dance. Then we all said, “Ta da!” and we kneeled down on our knees. It was

fun!!!

Jump for Miller Playground!

By: Hailey

Last week, the 4th and 5th graders

jumped rope. The 1st graders did the

“Macarena” and then after that the 4th

and 5th graders jumped rope again!

The 1st graders came back for the

wrap-up. We raised a lot of money for

the Miller playground!
