Wise and successful organizations plan well ahead for their future. In September 2017, Pastor Roger Feenstra and the board of directors began making preparations for leadership succession. At our 25th anniversary banquet last month the board announced its plan.

On March 1st, 2018, Pastor Bryce Naylor was installed as Hope Now’s third executive director, taking the reins from Pastor Roger, who led the organization for 14 years.

Pastor Bryce has been on staff at Hope Now for 13 years and has held various positions including Program Director and Director of Discipleship. Board chairman Corey File stated, “We are glad to promote from within our organization. It allows for greater continuity and a smooth transition, especially since Pastor Roger Feenstra, who is retiring from that position, will continue as a member of the team in another role.”

Pastor Bryce is married to Kara and has four sons, ages 9, 7, 4, and 6-months. He is a graduate of Simpson College (University) and has a degree in psychology and a minor in Biblical studies. Bryce has served in various Christian ministries including Forest Home Christian Conference Center, located in the San Bernardino mountains.

He is also a pastor at Hope Now Bible Church where he leads worship and preaches several times a year. Bryce enjoys reading, coffee, cycling, playing basketball, golfing, barbecuing, and being a loving husband and affectionate father.

Our future is in good hands with a godly and faithful man leading the way.

Wherever Hope Now exists, in Fresno or across the globe, our mission is the same, Two Steps and You’re Up:A caring relationship plus a job lifts a gang member from the streets to a life of hope and success. In Cambodia, where there are over six hundred deported Cambodian American young men, we spend all of our day discipling and helping men find a way to exist in that difficult land.

Our staff members, Chantha, Mout, and Van, lead the way with house church services and Bible studies. Each day they take time to lift up a man in prayer. Will you please do the same? Pray for our Cambodia efforts, and support us by designating a gift to be applied to our work there.
