Two types of operations… Fetching documents and Capturing documents. So we’re creating links for both!

Fetch Operation: Collect the index information from CU*BASE about the document in question, then use it to query the vault for that

document. Once the document is found in the vault, fetch it and display it to the user. We do this today for Photo-IDs, now let’s do it

for loan documents, membership documents, invoices, wire forms, tax documents etc…you get the idea!

We use the information from

CU*BASE to search for and

locate your document

automatically. Once found

we display it for you!

(ProDOC) right from CU*BASE!

These generic links will work as follows:

Fetch links will pull from a specific table by a generic value to provide a more inclusive result set of documents. For example, a fetch to retrieve

loan documents may be constructed to fetch by Account number only from a table named “Loans.” This fetch command in turn would provide

all documents for that account from the “loans” table vs. a specific document from a table name you can specify.

Capture links will automatically launch the capture software “ProDOC” and allow you to specify the particular document you wish to capture

and index it accordingly. There will not be intelligence to predetermine which document you wish to scan nor to index it for you.

In Phase III we will add the following links and make the existing links configurable. The phase III links will work as follows:

Fetch links will pull from a configurable table name, by specific configurable indexes, to provide a more specific result set of documents. For

example, a fetch to retrieve loan documents may be constructed to fetch by Account number, loan suffix and open date from a table name you

specify. This fetch command in turn would provide just the specific loan documents in question for that member vs. all the loan documents from

that table for that member.

Capture links will automatically launch the capture software “ProDOC”, specify the document type based on configuration, and index it

accordingly. An example of the new configuration screen from the Spec showing ability to configure table names and indexes follows:
