FAITH FORMATION NEWS
Diocesan Catholic Conference
The Diocesan Catholic Conference is scheduled for April 7, 2018. You may attend this conference for any sacramental meeting that you might be missing. Please call ahead of time to 956-727-2140 for registration. Please bring proof of atten-dance. Baptisms for faith formation students Parents please bring all the paper work for the godparents to Miss Rodriguez by Mon., March 26th. The Baptisms are scheduled for the Easter Vigil (Holy Saturday evening) on March 31, 2018. First Holy Communion Date The Mass for the reception of First Holy Communion is scheduled for Sunday, May 6, 2018. There will be two Masses, one at 9 a.m. and another at 12 noon. The younger students are assigned to the 9 a.m. Mass and the older stu-dents are assigned to the 12 noon Mass.
Confirmation Retreat and Mass
The confirmation retreat for the 2nd year students will be at St. Francisco Javier church on Saturday, April 14 from 9 to 4 p.m. The sacrament of confirmation for the students will be on Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m.

Fecha para las Misas de La Primera Comunión
La fecha para la Primera Comunión este año esta progra-mada para el domingo, 6 de mayo. Tendremos dos Misas. La de las 9 y la de las 12 del mediodía. En la Misa de las nueve tendremos a los alumnos mas pequeños y en la Misa de las 12 a los alumnos mas grandes.
Misa y retiro de Confirmación El retiro para la Confirma-ción es el sábado, 14 de abril en la Iglesia San Francisco Javier de 9 a.m. a 4 p.m. Las Misa de Confirmación será el viernes

NOCTURNAL ADORATION
The St. John Neumann Nocturnal Adoration Society will
observe Adoration and worship in the presence of the
exposed Holy Eucharist the evening/night of Holy
Thursday into Holy Friday. Nocturnal Adoration is open
to everyone; we look forward to having you join us at the
Parish Hall, immediately after 7:00 PM Mass on Thurs-
day, March 29th. Our vigil for April will return to the
second weekend of the month, April 14-15, 2018.

2018 OFFERTORY ENVELOPES
The envelope boxes that have not been picked up from the front entry of the church are now being reassigned to those in-dividuals that are requesting and needing offertory envelopes. . Also, I regret that I am still working on the posting of donations from 2017. Thus the statements for donations made in 2017 are not ready yet. March 25th - Palm Sunday - Mass at 9 a.m., 12 noon and 6 p.m. … The Blood of Christ will be offered during Saturday’s night Mass at 6
p.m. and Sunday’s Mass at noon.
March 29th - Holy Thursday - Adoration from 8p.m. - 12 midnight. Mass will begin at 7 p.m. .. There will be “washing of the feet”.
March 30th - Good Friday - The Youth Group will perform The Stations of The Cross at 3 p.m..
Good Friday Service is at 7 p.m. (bilingual) - (1) Proclamation of the Passion of The Lord (2) Veneration of the Cross (3) Holy Communion
March 31st- Easter Vigil - Will start at Deacon Gerry’s house at 8 p.m.
April 1st- Easter Sunday - 9 a.m. Mass (English) 12 p.m. (Bilingual) ...please note that there will NOT be a 6 p.m. Mass
SJN YOUTH GROUP FOOD DRIVE
The SJN Youth Group will be collecting any dry greens or non-
perishable food items before and after every Mass on Sunday

2018 ANNUAL DIOCESAN CONFERENCE
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is our great joy to invite you to our Annual Diocesan Confer-
ence to be held on Saturday, April 7th, from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30
p.m. at the LISD Performing Arts Center (2400 San Bernardo
Ave., Laredo, TX 78040) Registration and hospitality begin at
8 a.m. This conference is a wonderful opportunity to deeply
understand the call to discipleship and be formed with the
tools to go out into the world as missionary disciples. The
theme of this conference is “Disciples of Christ: Witnesses of
God’s Love” which is inspired by Pope Francis’ first apostolic
exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (Joy of the Gospel).
Simultaneous translations will be available. The registration
fee includes lunch, and snacks will be provided. Music enter-
tainment will be provided by St. Jude Music Ministry. The
Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered, and Holy Mass
will be celebrated.
