IIn Christ Jesus, life and immortality have beenunveiled. This life isn’t the mere human orbiological life that’s depraved, degenerate and

broken; it’s the life and nature of God that transcendsthe ordinary human life. In 1 John 5:13, the ApostleJohn writes, “These“These thingsthings havehave II writtenwritten untounto youyou thatthatbelievebelieve onon thethe namename ofof thethe SonSon ofof God;God; thatthat yeye maymayknowknow thatthat yeye havehave eternaleternal life….”life….” So, being a Christianmeans that the human life that’s subject to death, withwhich you came into this world, has been supplantedby the life and nature of God, making you immortal;divine.

Could this be real? “Is it true that death has beenabolished?” some may ask. Well, the Word says so,and that settles it! Notice the tenses that Paul used;he said death has been abolished; that’s in the pasttense; it’s not a promise; it’s been done already; you’renot an ordinary person; you’re divine. 2 Peter 1:4 says,“Whereby“Whereby areare givengiven untounto usus exceedingexceeding greatgreat andandpreciousprecious promises;promises; thatthat byby thesethese yeye mightmight bebe partakerspartakersofof thethe divinedivine nature….”nature….”

glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

EEphesians 1:3 says God has blessed you withall spiritual blessings in heavenly places inChrist Jesus; and 1 Corinthians 3:21 declares,

“…all“…all thingsthings areare yours.”yours.” God has given you everythingyou require to live victoriously and be a success in life.Meanwhile, in our opening verse, we observe a veryimportant element: it’s about your “knowledge of Him.”There’s nothing you could ever need or desire for agodly life that’s not already yours in Christ. However,making it a reality in your life is a function of yourknowledge of Him.

This kind of knowledge is full, exactknowledge—“epignosis” (Greek). God’s provisionsaren’t going to come to pass in your life just becausethey’re written in the pages of the Bible; there’s aknowledge of Him that you must have; knowledge thatunites the knower with that which is known; knowledgebeyond the senses; specific knowledge, withoutassumptions.

Something so beautiful and powerful aboutknowing Him is that not only do you get to know, andare able to appropriate all that He’s given to you, youalso get to know yourself. The more you know Him, themore you know you; He mirrors you. His Word mirrorsyou; in Him, you see you. You can never really know

yourself as God knows you until you know Him. Hemade you; so only He knows what’s inside you andwhat you’re capable of; He alone can reveal you to you.

Therefore, the way to know Him, and get todiscover you, is to study and meditate on the Word. 2Corinthians 3:18 shows that the Word is the mirror ofGod that reveals your true description. It says, “…we“…weall,all, withwith openopen faceface beholdingbeholding asas inin aa glassglass thethe gloryglory ofofthethe Lord,Lord, areare changedchanged intointo thethe samesame imageimage fromfrom gloryglorytoto glory,glory, eveneven asas byby thethe SpiritSpirit ofof thethe Lord.”Lord.” Search anddiscover who you really are, by looking into the mirrorof God; by getting to know the Lord. The moment youget a hold of what the Word says is yours, or who theWord says you are, respond by affirming accordingly.That’s how you endorse His Word into manifestation inyour life.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is itnot the communion of the blood of

Christ? The bread which we break, is itnot the communion of the body of

Christ? (1 Corinthians 10:16).

BBeing born again, not only is it your right totake the Holy Communion, it’s alsocompulsory, for it’s a participation in the

body and blood of Christ. As seen in our opening verse,the cup of blessing is actually the Communion of theblood of Christ. Likewise, the bread, which we break, isthe Communion of His body. This means we’re onewith the Lord. His victory is our victory; His ability is ourability. All that He is, He is in us, and we’re complete inHim. Amazing reality!

These are our affirmations as we partake of theCommunion; we’re to be mindful of our oneness withthe Lord, and our triumphant life in Him. “What if aChristian has done something wrong, can he stillpartake of the Communion?” Yes. He should repentof his sin immediately and not miss the opportunityto partake of the Communion, because the blood ofJesus was shed for the remission of sin; the Communionis a demonstration of faith in the blood of Christ forredemption.

“But I thought the Bible says, ‘Don’t take theCommunion when you’re not worthy; meaning whenyou’ve sinned?’” someone queries. That’s not what theBible says. The Spirit of God, writing through Paul tothe Corinthian Church, didn’t say, “whosoever shall eat

this bread or drink this cup, being unworthy.” Beingunworthy means the person isn’t qualified to eat thebread or drink the cup; every Christian qualifies to takethe Communion. What the Bible says is that it shouldn’tbe done “unworthily,” and there, the Apostle Paul wasaddressing the impropriety reported of the Christiansin Corinth as they took the Communion (1 Corinthians11:18-34).

Taking the Communion is something that mustbe done reverently and meditatively; in a heart ofworship and holiness, knowing the significance of thebody and blood of Christ—the fellowship and eternalredemption it provides. Hallelujah!

RRomans 6:23 says, “For“For thethe wageswages ofof sinsin isisdeath;death; butbut thethe giftgift ofof GodGod isis eternaleternal lifelifethroughthrough JesusJesus ChristChrist ourour Lord.”Lord.” Eternal life is

God’s gift to the world, not to Christians. You become aChristian only after you’ve received eternal life, which isthe life and nature of God. What Jesus came to do, thesalvation He brought, was for the whole world. So, inthe mind of justice, the whole world has been saved,because Jesus paid the price for every man’s sin. This islegal salvation. Vital salvation is only received bypersonal faith in Jesus Christ.

Unless one acknowledges, and accepts Hisvicarious sacrifice, he won’t experience the vital realityof the finished works of salvation in his personal life.That’s where we come in; those of us who havebecome Christians have a responsibility to tell the worldwhat Jesus did. Many don’t believe because theyhaven’t heard. Romans 10:14 sums it rightly: “How“Howthenthen shallshall theythey callcall onon himhim inin whomwhom theythey havehave notnotbelieved?believed? andand howhow shallshall theythey believebelieve inin himhim ofof whomwhomtheythey havehave notnot heard?heard? andand howhow shallshall theythey hearhear withoutwithout aapreacher?”preacher?”

They’ve got to hear that Jesus is the way, thetruth, and the life, and that He’s made that life availableto everyone. It’s a gift; therefore, they don’t have towork for it; all they need is to receive it. Romans10:9-10 says, “…if“…if thouthou shaltshalt confessconfess withwith thythy mouthmouth thethe

The human life is depraved, degenerate, andbroken; but God has provided another life, thetranscendent life, which He wants all men to have andlive. It’s the life of absolute victory, glory, righteousness,and dominion in Christ; it makes you indestructible andsupernatural, and it’s only available in Christ.

dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans10:9).

JJesus died to save man from sin, but salvationfrom sin wasn’t enough. We were free fromsin and the consequences of sin, but we

weren’t free from the power of sin. The resurrection ofJesus gave us a new life and power over sin. Thus, thepower to live above sin came from the resurrection; theresurrection brought us a new life of righteousness!

This is why it’s compulsory that we understandthat true salvation is based on our faith in the death,burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If anyonebelieves in the death and doesn’t believe in theresurrection, their salvation isn’t complete, because theresurrection is what gives us eternal life.

We read in our opening verse, “…if“…if thouthou shaltshaltconfessconfess withwith thythy mouthmouth thethe LordLord Jesus,Jesus, andand shaltshalt believebelieveinin thinethine heartheart thatthat GodGod hathhath raisedraised himhim fromfrom thethe dead,dead,thouthou shaltshalt bebe saved.”saved.” Verse 10 continues, “For“For withwith thetheheartheart manman believethbelieveth untounto righteousness;righteousness; andand withwith thethemouthmouth confessionconfession isis mademade untounto salvation.”salvation.” From theforegoing, we observe two things that are involved insalvation: you must confess with your mouth that Jesusis Lord of your life, and believe that God raised Himfrom the dead. When a man fulfils both, he can thendeclare, “I’m saved,” for with that, he’s at once usheredinto a new life; a life of righteousness, with power over

When Moses came down from MountSinai carrying the two Tablets of The

Testimony, he didn’t know that the skinof his face glowed because he had been

speaking with GOD (Exodus 34:29MSG).

MMan is a spirit being and not a physicalbody. Many, however, have put apremium on their outward appearance;

they go through rigorous exercises and dietary plans;some even go through severe surgical procedures tomaintain or enhance their physical looks.

But you see, don’t be carried away by all thepraise you might receive for your outward appearance.The truth is, there’s no glory like that of your spirit. Thatshould be your dream: beautifying your human spirit!

1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being“Being bornborn again,again, notnot ofofcorruptiblecorruptible seed,seed, butbut ofof incorruptible,incorruptible, byby thethe wordword ofofGod,God, whichwhich livethliveth andand abidethabideth forfor ever.”ever.” Thus, you’reborn of the Word, and contemplating the Word shouldbe a priority. When you study the Word or receiveits ministry in teaching or preaching, it glorifies orbeautifies your spirit. You’re strengthened, energizedand invigorated for greater works.

Moses had an experience recorded in Exodus34. He had spent so much time (forty days and fortynights) with God on Mount Sinai, receiving the TenCommandments. When he came down from themountain, his face radiated the glory of God, such thateveryone who saw him couldn’t look at him.

BEAUTIFYING YOUR SPIRIT

Moses had to wear a veil to shroud the glorythat had rubbed off on him (Exodus 34:29-33). That’sthe effect of deep contemplation and meditation on theWord. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But“But wewe all,all, withwith openopenfaceface beholdingbeholding asas inin aa glassglass thethe gloryglory ofof thethe Lord,Lord, arearechangedchanged intointo thethe samesame imageimage fromfrom gloryglory toto glory,glory, evenevenasas byby thethe SpiritSpirit ofof thethe Lord.”Lord.”

The Word of God is where the glory is, and theNew Covenant is far more glorious. As you receive theWord, at your quiet time, devotion, or church services,the intensity of the glory in your life is increased; you’reenraptured, beautified, and enveloped by His glory.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and yeshall not fulfil the lust of the flesh

(Galatians 5:16).

SSometimes, some Christians, while praying,would say, “Whatever evil my enemies haveplanned against me, Lord, give them double!

Anyone who wants me dead, let that one rather die asudden death!” No, this isn’t the right way to pray as aChristian; not when you’re full of the Spirit!

Those who pray like that are praying accordingto the desire of the flesh, not according to the Spirit.Our opening verse says, “...Walk“...Walk inin thethe Spirit,Spirit, andand yeyeshallshall notnot fulfilfulfil thethe lustlust (desire) ofof thethe flesh.”flesh.” It’s the desireof the flesh to see the death of your enemies, but thedesire of the Spirit is to see their salvation.

When you pray against your enemies, that’swalking in the flesh; that’s praying in the flesh. WhatGod wants is for us to pray in the Spirit: “Praying“Praying alwaysalwayswithwith allall prayerprayer andand supplicationsupplication inin thethe SpiritSpirit …”…”(Ephesians 6:18). Stay in the Spirit; don’t be perturbedby whatever your enemy may be scheming against you.

Jesus said, “Pray for,” not against, your enemies:“But“But II saysay untounto you,you, LoveLove youryour enemies,enemies, blessbless themthem

thatthat cursecurse you,you, dodo goodgood toto themthem thatthat hatehate you,you, andandpraypray forfor themthem whichwhich despitefullydespitefully useuse you,you, andand persecutepersecuteyou”you” (Matthew 5:44). You may feel hurt, and upset orangry, but refuse to hate. You’re too full of love to hateor curse anyone. You’re too sweet in your spirit to bebitter or take record of the wrongs done to you.

don’t count. It makes no difference how many peoplegang up against you, they’re not a factor. You’ve beenraised together with Christ! Greater is He that’s in youthan he that’s in the world. FFire is very significant in Scripture. In someplaces, it was used to symbolize the Spirit ofGod and the character in which He operated

or manifested Himself. When God revealed Himself toMoses, it was in the burning bush (Exodus 3:3-5). Whenthe Holy Ghost came in Acts 2:1-4 as Jesus hadpromised His disciples, the Scriptures record thatcloven tongues like as of fire appeared unto them andsat upon each of them, and they were filled with theHoly Ghost.

Then we read the words of John the Baptist inour opening verse above, where he talked about thebaptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. Now, many haveconfused John’s statement to mean that both the powerof the Holy Ghost, and the fire of the Holy Ghost aresynonymous, but they aren’t. When John the Baptistsaid Jesus shall baptize with the Holy Ghost, and withfire, that “fire” meant judgment.

The fire of the Holy Ghost is about cleansing; it’scalled, “The fire of Judgment” or “The fire of cleansing.”The Bible says, “…he“…he willwill throughlythroughly purgepurge hishis floor,floor, andandgathergather hishis wheatwheat intointo thethe garner;garner; butbut hehe willwill burnburn upup thethechaffchaff withwith unquenchableunquenchable fire”fire” (Matthew 3:12). TThere’s a difference between a donation andan oblation. When you give to the Lord, it’san offering, an oblation; it’s called a holy

giving and it’s a connection between you and yourheavenly Father, different from donations. There’reendeavours to which we can make donations; we candonate to charity organizations, NGOs, and worthycauses, but when it comes to giving to God, it’s not adonation; your offerings, and tithes that you give to theLord are oblations and must be hallowed in your heart,and given reverently.

This is important because how you deal withyour giving determines the results you’re going to getfrom God. If you give as a donation, you get what adonation promises. You don’t donate to God; you givean offering to Him, because He is God. Your offering isa testimony that you recognize, and are honouring Himas God, and not as a man.

Sometimes, donations or contributions may becalled for in the church. These could be for somechurch project or endeavour, and could be classifiedaccordingly. Nonetheless, your tithes and offerings, like

seed offerings, first-fruit offerings, etc., are not donationsor contributions: they are oblations to the Lord.Remember, worshipping the Lord must be accordingto His prescribed order or else we lose the blessingpromised. The word teaches that there are blessingsconnected with oblations. Donations and contributionshave their blessings as well.

For example, if you give alms to the poor, that’snot an offering; it’s a loan to God (Proverbs 19:17); ithas its blessings. An offering to God is very different.This understanding is important, because when youwant to have maximum results from God, you have todo God’s things, God’s way.

how would you live every day? Would you still beworried over anything? I’m sure you wouldn’t! I mean,you have everything, and are able to enjoy everythingthat God has blessed you with on earth; you wouldn’tcare about a thing in the world!

But did you know that’s how you’re expected tolive every day? You ought to have no cares whatsoever,because God, indeed, already blessed you witheverything: every resource—spiritual and physical—thatyou require to live a godly and successful life. Thosewho don’t have this consciousness are the ones whoget agitated and worried in life.

The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 6:25, “Therefore“ThereforeII saysay untounto you,you, TakeTake nono thoughtthought forfor youryour life,life, whatwhatyeye shallshall eat,eat, oror whatwhat yeye shallshall drink;drink; nornor yetyet forfor youryourbody,body, whatwhat yeye shallshall putput on….”on….” This is your ticket to theworry-free life. Before you were born, God already kneweverything you’d ever need, and in His love, He madethem available to you in Christ, even before you everhad the sense or “faith” to consider asking Him. He

In your life, refuse to worry; it’s something youhave to consciously practise. Have confidence in theLord, and in all that He’s done for you and madeavailable to you in Christ Jesus. Instead of worrying,which wouldn’t change your situation in the first place,turn your petitions to the Lord; with thanksgiving,present your requests to Him.

Choose the life of blessings and reject worry andanxiety. You’ll be amazed at the doors that’ll open toyou; the blessings of God that’ll begin to work in yourlife without restraint. Praise God forevermore!

(Galatians 5:16).

TThe reason some Christians find themselvesstruggling with the flesh is that they’re notliving the Word (James 1:22). The Word of

God is clear: Walk in the Spirit, and you’ll not fulfil thelusts or desires of the flesh, as our opening verse states.

Some have been trying to crucify the flesh for along time to no avail. God never told us to crucify theflesh, because the flesh has already been crucified; ithappened the moment you were born again. Galatians5:24 says, “And“And theythey thatthat areare Christ’sChrist’s havehave crucifiedcrucified thethefleshflesh withwith thethe affectionsaffections andand lusts.”lusts.”

So, if you’re struggling with the flesh, simply stop;just act on the Word; walk according to the life andnature of God that’s in your spirit. 1 John 1:7 tells usto walk in the light, as He (God) is in the light; in otherwords, walk in the light of God’s provisions for you inChrist, as revealed in the Word.

For example, Romans 6:14 says, “For“For sinsin shallshallnotnot havehave dominiondominion overover you…”you…” ; therefore, if you findyourself struggling with a sinful habit, don’t becomefrustrated! Use the Word. Affirm, “I’m the righteousnessof God in Christ Jesus; sin has no power over me.I refuse to be entangled by any yoke of bondage. Iput a stop to this habit, in Jesus’ Name.” Make thisdeclaration and begin to walk in its light, and sin shallnot lord it over you. Hallelujah!

How didhis wealth come? Ghost.”Ghost.” The word, “building” as used by the ApostleJude doesn’t mean building something afresh or fromscratch; it’s the Greek word, “epoikodomeo.” It meansto build on, or build upon; building on an alreadyexisting foundation.

Now, the Bible lets us know that God has dealtto every man the measure of faith (Romans 12:3); thefaith given to you by God is the foundation you needto build upon for a life of success, prosperity, victory,divine health and glory as God wants.

Oftentimes, as you hear God’s Word, faithcomes to you strong, and you’re inspired to take certainactions. That’s your moment of faith; that’s the time youmust act. If you delay, that faith could wane or dissipate,because it came in the Word that you heard at thattime. What you do when faith comes to you like that isto take action, and then keep feeding your faith to keepit virile.

Our theme verse says God is the one that worksin you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.All that time you were inspired and thought to dosomething for the Lord or take an action for the Gospel,it was God working His purpose in you. Once you’vetaken the steps, don’t let your faith down; build on it,because there’s more to do; keep the faith on. This is

where some miss it; they don’t realize that they haveto build their faith continually; so, they find themselvesvacillating, staggering at the Word of God throughunbelief.

When you hear God’s Word and faith comes toyou, act immediately; hold on to the vision, and letnothing stop you. Maybe it’s a teaching about giving,and your faith is stirred up to give, go ahead and doso immediately; seize that hour of faith and act on theWord.

Never let the zeal of your faith wane. Keep yourfaith afire; build and nourish it with the Word of God.Don’t allow space for negative thoughts that’ll breeddoubts, and delay your blessing for acting on the Word.

For we have not followed cunninglydevised fables, when we made knownunto you the power and coming of our

TThe first thing that should compel you aboutpreaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ is thetruth of the Gospel. The Gospel isn’t an

assumption or some fairytale. Peter said, “We have notfollowed cunningly devised fables”; this Gospel is truth.

Secondly, the content of the Gospel, what itstates, is most compelling: that Christ Jesus came intothe world to save sinners, and that He was, and is, theSon of God in truth—God in the flesh. Moreover, Hewas crucified on the Cross, and died for us. He wasburied, and God raised Him from the dead, and He’salive today; His death on the Cross was a sacrifice forthe sins of the world.

When Jesus died, we died in Him; when He wasburied, we were buried in Him; when God raised Himback to life, we were raised together with Him, andbecause He lives, we live. Hallelujah! These are ourconvictions about Christ and the Gospel! 2 Corinthians5:21 says, “For“For hehe hathhath mademade himhim toto bebe sinsin forfor us,us, whowhoknewknew nono sin;sin; thatthat wewe mightmight bebe mademade thethe righteousnessrighteousnessofof GodGod inin him.”him.”

WWhen Jesus died on the Cross, He knewthat if we got to hear about His love, we’dbelieve and become one with Him. He

had faith in what He did, in His vicarious sacrifice for us.He trusted that we’d become everything He died, wasburied, and rose back to life for. That’s the faith of theSon of God by which we’re to live.

Think about it this way: imagine that you havea son who’s about to sit for his final exam. The examcosts quite some money, but you’re ready to stakeeverything. You say to him, “Son, all the money wehave at the moment is what we’re paying for you to sitfor this exam, but that’s nothing, because we trust you’dbe successful, and as a result, things will change for thefamily.”

Now, your son understands that the hope ofthe entire family is on him; he knows he’s got to besuccessful at this exam; he can’t afford to disappointthe family. So, he’ll act on your faith in him—which willbecome his driving force. His friends may be partying,but he’ll act differently, because he knows you’veinvested everything in him, and wants to justify theconfidence reposed in him.

That’s akin to Galatians 2:20: the life we nowlive, we live by the faith of the Son of God who lovedus and gave up everything for us. We can’t fail or

Christ should, and must, be seen and heard inyou. Today, you live in the earth, and dowhatever you do as the representative of Jesus; youfunction in His Name.

Therefore, live and talk as a God-man. Thisconsciousness brings a different perspective to yourcharacter. Read our theme verse again: it says live, talk,conduct your life in the Name of the Lord Jesus! Thinkabout it: how many hurtful or abusive remarks canwe make in His Name? None! Nonetheless, in whatever way or shadedistractions come, refuse to allow them. Understandthat as a Christian, especially when you’re making animpact with the Gospel, you’ll face persecutions;there’ll be those who’ll be against you, or even hateyou, but that shouldn’t be a surprise to you at all.Jesus said, “...If“...If theythey havehave persecutedpersecuted me,me, theythey willwill alsoalsopersecutepersecute you...”you...” (John 15:20). But guess what? It makesno difference who’s against you; you’re forever a victor;you’re more than a conqueror.

Distractions can come from the devil too. He canbring such thoughts to you as, “Do you think you’resupposed to be a Christian? What has this Christianityeven done for you?” Never entertain such thoughts;

TThe scripture above admonishes us to markand avoid those who cause divisions andoffences contrary to the doctrine of Christ.

You’ve been taught the love of Christ; you’ve beenindoctrinated with the Word of God in a certaindirection; continue in the Word. Mark and avoid thosewho live contrary to the truth of the Gospel; the truththat you’ve been taught. This is God’s instruction. It’sthe same warning He gave through the Apostle Paul tothe Philippian church; he said, “Beware“Beware ofof dogs,dogs, bewarebewareofof evilevil workers,workers, bewarebeware ofof thethe concision”concision” (Philippians3:2).

Now, this admonition is primarily for us to stayaway from those in the church who don’t follow thetruth, who cause dissension and strife. When you see asign in a building that says, “Beware of dogs,” the signisn’t telling you about the dogs outside that building,but the ones inside that particular house. So, whenthe Apostle Paul said, “Beware of dogs; beware of evilworkers; beware of the concision,” he was referring tomischief makers in the Church.

These could be people in the same local church,same cell group, same estate, neighbourhood, office,etc., and they’re Christians. He wouldn’t warn youabout them if He didn’t think your association with

them would be inimical to your Christian walk. Manyhave found themselves in serious trouble forfraternizing with the wrong people. The Lord’sadmonition is clear: you’re to “mark” and “avoid”mischief makers, not try to change them. Don’t keepcompany with people who deliberately don’t walk inlove, people who engender disunity in the Church;divisive elements who mislead others.

People get messed up when they get involvedwith a messed up person. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says,“Be“Be notnot deceived:deceived: evilevil communicationscommunications corruptcorrupt goodgoodmanners.”manners.” If you’ve had, or have friends with whomyou’re not experiencing any meaningful spiritualprogress, or whose friendship hinders youreffectiveness in the Gospel, it’s high time you gave upsuch friendships. Don’t negotiate; just end it, so yourparticipation in the faith—your Christian life—would beeffectual as it should be. Glory to God!

True success is by the Spirit. Thus, being filledwith the Spirit continually isn’t an option. We read in our opening verseabout Bezaleel; the Bible says he was the best in allkinds of craft! And you know what? That same Spiritthat made him such a success is in you today. There’snothing you can’t do, and there’s nothing you can’tknow or be skilled at.

Jesus said in John 14:26 that the Holy Spirit willteach you ALL things; not some things! This is His joband ministry in your life. He’s sent of God to teachyou everything you need to know about life. He’s theperfect educator; the real teacher! Yield yourself toHim, and He’d energize you for success, stir you upfor prosperity, and programme you for greatness. How

When Jesus died on the Cross, somethinginteresting transpired. A Roman soldier thrust a spearthrough His side, and “blood and water gushed out.”His heart had ruptured, and all His blood drained out.His body was buried without blood. When He wasraised from the dead, the resurrected body of Jesus hadno blood.

Where then did the life of the body of Jesuscome from? After all, He didn’t come back to life asa Ghost, He resurrected in flesh. The Bible tells us Hewas raised from the dead by the glory of the Father;that’s the Holy Ghost! The Holy Ghost overshadowedthe dead body of Jesus, quickened it, and Jesus cameback to life; His body being without blood.

Now that you’re born again, you have the samelife with which Jesus was raised from the dead. He glorified you withHimself.

Referring to Jesus, Hebrews 2:9 tells us that Godcrowned Him with glory and honour. Then in 1 John4:17, we read that as He is, so are we in this world.Blessed be God! Neither the Pharisees nor the Sadducees evertaught the people about having the God-kind of faith,about believing and receiving. Become conscious that you’re not alone; you’rein the Father, and the Father is in you. You’re one withHim. 1 Corinthians 6:17 talks about your inseparableunion with the Father: “...he“...he thatthat isis joinedjoined untounto thethe LordLordisis oneone spirit.”spirit.” This is the reason you can enjoy richfellowship with Him, and walk in union with Him. Jesuscame to make our glorious union and fellowship withthe Father possible.

There’s no need to try to reach out to God asthough He were far away; He’s in you, and you’re inHim. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “...if“...if anyany manman bebe inin Christ,Christ,hehe isis aa newnew creature....”creature....” You came into Him (Christ)by the New Birth. So, you’re in Him now. Then inColossians 1:27, we read that He’s in you; Christ is inyou. Thus, like Jesus, you’re in the Father, and the Fatheris in you through the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!

For the wages of sin is death; but the giftof God is eternal life through Jesus

Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

SSome people only think of God’s wrath. Theybelieve He’s fuming at the world fromheaven, looking forward to the day He’ll

finally execute judgement on man and this sinful world;no! God isn’t concerned about sin as many think. Hewas concerned about sin, and His concern made Himsend Jesus.

Today, the emphasis is no longer on the wagesof sin, which is death, but on the gift of God, whichis eternal life through Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23). Godwants the world to receive the salvation which Healready made available in Christ Jesus. The Bible saysHe’s unwilling that any should perish, but that all shouldcome to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

When Jesus died on the Cross, the problem ofsin was dealt with forever. The death, burial, andresurrection of Jesus Christ brought an end to sin andbrought us into the life of righteousness: “For“For hehe hathhathmademade himhim toto bebe sinsin forfor us,us, whowho knewknew nono sin;sin; thatthat wewemightmight bebe mademade thethe righteousnessrighteousness ofof GodGod inin him”him” (2Corinthians 5:21).

God isn’t mad at you; He settled the sin-problemin, and through Jesus Christ. Now you can appreciatewhy He said, “…sin“…sin shallshall notnot havehave dominiondominion overoveryou…”you…” (Romans 6:14). What you need do is trust Hisrighteousness; trust what Jesus came to do! You’re thefruit—the result of Christ’s redemptive work. Accept andwalk in His righteousness, and live continually in His

WWhen you study the Word of God, you’reactually looking into the mirror of God,and you see yourself. As you study and

meditate, what you see is the glory of God, and thatglory is actually your true reflection, because God’sWord mirrors you. It shows your identity, origin,potentials, and ability in Christ Jesus.

When we preach the Gospel and teach othersthe Word, we’re holding God’s mirror to them so theycan see themselves in the Word, know who they are,as well as their rights and abilities in Christ. The onewho hitherto thought he was a sinner, unworthy andunderserving of God’s love, suddenly sees that he’sloved of God. The one who thought he wascondemned suddenly discovers that Christ has paid theprice for his salvation, and immediately begins to walkin that light. That’s the power of God’s Word; it worksthrough the mirror principle.

The Word doesn’t only show you who you are,it also imparts to you the ability to live accordingly. Forexample, 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For“For hehe hathhath mademadehimhim toto bebe sinsin forfor us,us, whowho knewknew nono sin;sin; thatthat wewe mightmight

OOur opening scripture lets us know thepower of God’s Word. Howbeit, the Wordonly produces results for you when you

believe, and act upon it. Your faith-response is vital. Forexample, 2 Peter 1:3 says God has given you all thingsthat pertain to life and godliness. This means everythingyou could ever want, that’s consistent with God’sperfect will for you, is already yours in Christ.

Your response, therefore, should be, “Blessed beGod! Health, prosperity, success, victory, and otherglorious provisions of the Gospel are my present-hourrealities in Christ.” Responding to the Word is how youmake the Word real in your personal life, and that’swhat faith is: the response of the human spirit to theWord of God.

KKnowing who you are in Christ is so vital; it’s aprerequisite to having the right attitudetowards the challenges you might face in life,

and living above circumstances. There’re many whoaren’t enjoying the blessings of Christianity, becausethey don’t know who they are in Christ; they don’tunderstand who the Christian is. They think, forexample, that a Christian is a religious person; someonewho goes to church; no! He’s much more.

A Christian is someone in whom Christ dwells;someone in whom, and through whom, the Kingdom ofGod is manifested; a carrier of divinity. Once you cometo terms with this reality, your life will take on a newmeaning, and you’ll live joyfully every day, irrespectiveand independent of circumstances. This is why it’s soimportant that you understand God’s Word, what Hesays about you, and then live accordingly.

The Bible says Jesus wasn’t only delivered todeath on account of your sins, He was also raised foryour justification (Romans 4:25). What does it meanto be justified? It means to be declared “not guilty”;meaning that in the mind of justice, in the eyes of God,you never sinned; therefore, no charges against you.

Now you can further appreciate why the Biblesays you’re holy, unblameable and unreproveable inthe sight of God (Colossians 1:22). It’s because the

Your justification isn’t because Jesus “paid” foryour sins; He did that for the whole world of sinners,but the Christian isn’t a sinner; he’s a new creation; aproduct, not of the death and burial of Jesus Christ, butof His resurrection! You came from the resurrection.

You’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus,graced to reign and exercise dominion over Satan andcircumstances. Hallelujah!

When God sends you on an assignment, He seesto it that everything you require to accomplish thatassignment is made available to you. All He needs isyour commitment to His dream. You have to bedetermined that there’ll be no limit to how far you’rewilling to go and do for the Gospel, for it is the powerof God unto salvation to everyone who believes. It’s thepower of God to make sinners righteous. It’s the powerof God to catapult the poor from obscurity and miseryto a life of prosperity, glory, and excellence.

The sinner needs to know that Jesus already borethe penalty for his sins. The poor needs to know thatthey’ve been brought out of poverty, into prosperityand abundance. The sick needs to know that divinehealth is available in Christ; Jesus has taken away everypain; all they have to do is call on His Name.
