La agricultura de Centroamérica y República Dominicana se prepara para el futuro, apostándole a una visión conjunta de construcción de resiliencia frente al clima. En el 2050 Centroamérica y República Dominicana podrían conocerse como los nuevos ‘Jaguares de América…’ (while the working language of GACSA is English, we welcome news from our members in their own languages. It would be most helpful, when possible, if our members would also provide an English translation of their news.) Member Spotlight: Climate Smart Agriculture Youth Network The Climate Smart Agriculture Youth Network (CSAYN) consists of volunteers (based in 12 sub-Saharan African countries, Canada, Myanmar) who promote and strengthen climate smart agriculture among youth. CSAYN is working with the Global Alliance for Climate-Smart Agriculture to highlight youth issues across the alliance. The main objective of CSAYN is to create awarenessRelease of Nutrient Management Handbook The world’s farmers are on the frontline of the challenges facing the agricultural sector. With the unfortunate decline in extension services seen in many parts of the world, greater efforts to transfer knowledge on best management practices in the area of plant nutrition are required.
