Dear Partners,
I am very excited about the many things that are happening here at Project Life Impact. First of all, I would like to extend many thanks to all of our partners that attended our Open House. We deeply appreciate the contributions you and your organizations have made to Project Life Impact. If you were unable to attend stop on by and we can give you a tour.
Secondly, we are kicking off a fundraising campaign. Our
goal is to raise $50, 000 in 10 weeks. Although, that number may seem substantial it is very possible with IMPACT Partners such as yourself. Every little bit counts.
Our mission here at Project Life Impact is to impact our community, however you too can help. We are in need of volunteers to assist us with our various programs. If you are interested in volunteering please contact us.
You too can Impact the community!
For more information on these or other programs you can contact us at (909) 388-1700 or visit our website www.projectlifeimpact.org.

Norton Space & Aeronautics Academy
Students at our Norton Space and Aeronautics Academy are reaping the benefits of good study. Over 40% of our After School Impact kids obtained awards for Citizenship, Reading, Writing and Math from NSAA. Though we cannot take the credit for their hard work and dedication, we are proud to be part of their academic achievement. Our dedicated team of teachers have devoted at least one hour a day with the students for homework and study time, making sure each student understands and completes 2 pages of work a day.
One of our 2nd grade students, Aidan McLaughlin, won the CABE (California Association for Bilingual Education) Writing Contest of 2012! He wrote a literary piece about the many advantages of being bilingual/biliterate in today’s society. He will read his essay at the CABE 2012 Seal of Excellence and Student Writing Dinner Banquet in Sacramento, CA. In addition, he will receive a Savings Bond of $200! Amazing!!!
We are very proud of the academic and social triumphs our students are achieving at NSAA and can only hope to continue in our support.
Del Vallejo Jaguars
This month at Del Vallejo we have the following clubs: Cinematography, football, cupcake wars, NASA exploration, and chess. We’d like to send a big “THANK YOU” to Mr. McWilliams and the faculty at Del Vallejo for all their hard work and support. After Spring Break there will be a school dance.
Creative After School Programs for Success
After School Impact
E. Neal Roberts Koalas
This month at E. Neal Roberts Mr. Matthew is blasting off with a NASA science and engineering club by exploring Saturn. Ms. Jessica is keeping it fun and active with an old classic the Jeopardy trivia club. And last but certainly not the least Mr. Reggie is “kickin’ it” with fitness by having a soccer club.
Lankershim Lions
After great clubs in the month of February i.e. ( Garden of love, Planet rock, Wild Wild West and Play N with Plastic). Lankershim Marches Into March Madness with a more amazing set.
Mr. Andrew will be leading the madness with his club "Lankershim All-stars" which focuses on team based elimination sports games. In Ms. Kristie's Club, Mt. Lucky students will learn about land masses and create their own volcano's, which they will erupt for all to see at CAPS mall. These are just a few of the fun things going on the month Lankershim CAPS.
Highland Pacific Tigers
There are few changes at Highland-Pacific, Mr. G will be returning to High-Pac next school year. Ms. Tracy will be holding down the fort until his return. This month we are welcoming a new staff member, Ms. Jackie. In March we will be running Jammin’ Jeopardy, Ultimate Warrior and Bingo.
