Be sure that the voltage stabilizer canwithstand the oscillations in yourarea.

Do not use electric appliances insidethe food storage compartmentsunless they are of the typerecommended by the manufacturer.

Your refrigerator is provided with aground wire for your safety. Do not eliminate it by cutting it fromthe outlet or by using adapters. Your residence electrical connectionmust be provided with a groundwire. If there is no grounding, checkwith a specialist for properinstallation.

If the power supply cord is damaged,it must be replaced.You can use a special set indicatedby the manufacturer or by theauthorized service shop.

Once your refrigerator is connected,prevent the power supply cord fromgetting in touch with hot parts suchas the compressor or other elementsthat generate high temperatures.

Power supply of your residence:

The electric wires of your residence shall beof copper and have minimum sections of2.5 mm2.

Ground wire:

Grounding is necessary in any voltage(110 to 240V), and for any electricelectronic appliance.The grounding wire shall not beconnected to the neutral conductor ofthe power system, nor to cable tubing,gas or water pipes, taps or faucets.When grounding, follow the groundingstandards in force and call an authorizedelectrician.The incorrect installation of the groundwire might result in accidents such asfire, electrical shock or other personalinjuries.

Check if the voltagesupplied is the same asthat on the tag attachednear the plug.The refrigerator shallbe connected to a good wall outlet.

Important:

Never connect your refrigerator todouble or triple extension cordstogether with another appliance inthe same wall outlet.Do not use an extension cord.That may overload power supply,impairing theoperation of yourrefrigerator, andresulting infire accidents.Use an exclusivewall outlet only.

If you live in an area where there arevoltage oscillations greater than 10%of the rated voltage, do not plugyour refrigerator directly into the wallsocket.

Heating on the sides:

Heating of some refrigerator externalareas is normal.That happens to avoid the formationof sweat.However, under critical conditions ofroom temperature and humidity,sweat may be observed.Dry the product with a soft cloth.

Location:

The refrigerator shallneither be installed nearheat sources (stove,heater etc.) nor in alocation where it isexposed to direct sunlight. Installation in aninadequate location impairs the operationof the refrigerator and increases powerconsumption.

How to build in:

Consider the following minimum distancesto assure good aircirculation:

By doing so you will ensure the goodperformance of the product.You will also prevent your refrigeratorcomponents from touching walls, otherproducts or furniture avoiding unpleasantnoise.

NO FROST SYSTEMYour refrigerator uses the no frostsystem, making defrosting unnecessaryas it is automatically done in the internalpart of the system.

There will be no ice formation in thefreezer compartment facilitating, thus,storage of foods and cleaning of thecompartment.

When storing foods, avoid placing themnext to air openings not to impair thegood operation of the product.Foods can freeze in that place.

When opening the door, shelves may fogup due to the entry of hot air inside theproduct.

No es aconsejablequitar la tapabasculante frontaldel compartimientoextra-fro.

COMPARTIMIENTO CONGELADOR Al almacenar alimentos en el

compartimiento congelador, preparepequeas porciones.Esto posibilitar un congelamiento msrpido y el uso integral de cada porcin.

Al almacenar alimentos en el congelador,observe las orientaciones de losfabricantes de alimentos.

Todo congelador posee capacidad decongelar una cantidad mxima dealimentos cada 24 horas.Evite exceder la capacidad decongelamiento de su producto, queusted puede conferir en la etiqueta deidentificacin, localizada en la partetrasera de su producto.

Observe siempre la fecha de vencimientode los productos congelados, indicadapor el fabricante.

Rear:Your refrigerator is provided with acondenser at the rear which exchanges heatwith the environment.To assure the good performance of theproduct, it is important that the condenseris not obstructed in any way - for example,hanging clothes behind the product to drythem. In case that happens, heat exchangewill be impaired and power consumptionwill be increased. In extreme situations, itmay cause irreversible damage to thecompressor.

Heating on the sides:

Heating of some external areas ofthe refrigerator is normal.That happens to avoid theformation of moisture. However,under critical conditions of roomtemperature and humidity,moisture may be observed.Dry the product with a soft cloth.

HOW TO OPERATE THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLSFreezer ControlUse this control to set the freezer temperature.Keep the control in Med position.Set it to Min when room temperature is below 18C, and to Max whenroom temperature is above 35C.

The temperature control can be set to better preserve foods, depending on the extent yourrefrigerator is used.

The temperature is set by pressing the control key tothe position desired.

In cold days, little food stored and few openings ofthe door, avoid setting the temperature to a Fast Cooling setting. Foods may get frozen.

CONTROL DE LA HUMEDADEl uso adecuado del control de humedadpermite regular el paso de aire hacia elinterior del cajn de acuerdo con susnecesidades.

Es recomendablemantener el controlcerrado para conservarlos vegetales de hojasverdes y abierto parala conservacin de frutas.

STORING FOOD ANDBEVERAGES Food shall be stored in adequate packages

like plastic bags or containers withhermetic lids.This procedure avoidsthe removal of naturalhumidity from thefood, preservingquality.

Do not place hot foods inside theRefrigerator. Allow them to cool down toroom temperature.That helps savingpower consumption,and assures the goodoperation of theproduct.

Try to leave the doors open only as longas it takes to place and remove food andbeverages.You will, thus, reduce power consumptionand improve the performance of yourrefrigerator.

Important:

It is recommended to operate therefrigerator for at least 2 hours beforestoring food or beverages in it.That time is necessary for temperatureto stabilize inside the product.

Once defrosted, foods should not berefrozen as they might lose theirnatural characteristics.

Liquids increase in volume whenfrozen. Take care when storing bottlesor other closed containers in thefreezer and fast freezing compartmentfor a long time.Those containers may brake.

Do not store toxic products in yourrefrigerator as they may contaminatefoods.

FAST FREEZING COMPARTMENTThis compartment operates at a colder,more stable temperature, inside therefrigerator.It, therefore, keeps daily food longer andfaster cools beverages.It is indicated to store dairy products, ham,sausages and meat.

If necessary to remove it, first take out allfood. Then completely open the drawer,pulling it frontward, until it touches thestop. Lift the front part holding it withthe two hands, and pull it forwardcarefully.

It is not advisableto remove the fronttilting lid from theextra-coldcompartment.

FREEZER COMPARTMENT When storing food in the freezer

compartment, prepare small portions toallow faster freezing and entire use ofeach portion.

When storing food in the freezer, observethe instructions of the foodmanufacturers.

Each freezer is able to freeze a maximumamount of food at every 24 hours.Avoid exceeding the freezing capacity ofyour product. Refer to the identificationtag located at the rear of the product.

Always observe the storage time forfrozen food indicated by themanufacturer.

When storing food, avoid placing it nextto air outlets. It impairs the performanceof the product and increases ventilationnoise (see item Normal Noises).
