1. Global settings:Enter the path for saving the measurements and project filesIn the folder Measuremens the different sessions are divided into subfolder named bydate.
2. Calibration coefficientEnter the coefficient values for the calibration curves as in the calibration reportSome calibration settings are described as inf. (infinitive) in the calibration report. -example Cu3= inf.
Be sure user will set a high value of hertz, for example > 5000 hz.
3. Acquisition settingsEnter the sample rate and select the Correct ID, not the internal audio card.If correct ID is set, youll get correct calibration view, and not a 1 curved lin
Note: You can check if the right ID is selected by de-connect the P-output or U-output cable,so one of the signals will become a straight line. If the signal lines will stay the same the
wrong audio soundcard is selected
3.3. Calibrate the DAQ
SelectCalibrate DAQ from the main window (Fig.4A)The new soundcards models have the button for the calibration. Press this button when
starting the calibration procedure. If the soundcard has not the calibration button connect a know input signal in the BNCpressure and velocity input.

4. Measure the intensity
4.1. Measure all the po ints
Choose a grid for the point by point intensity measurement.Position the probe in the first point and click Start. Check the overload Level in the window.
Figure 7. Measurement window
Move the probe in the second point of measurement and press Start.
Measure all the points chosen for the test.NOTE: Hold the probe from the bottom with the measurement direction normal to the surface. The mark on the probe has to be positioned in front of the measurement surface.
