(ii) The Narasimha Maha-Mantra:

'Om Ugram, Viram, Maha-Vishnum,Jwalantam, Sarvato Mukam,

Nirshimham, Bhishanam, Bhadram,

Mrityor-Mrityur namam yaham.'

"O' Angry and brave Maha-Vishnu, your heat and fire permeate

everywhere. O Lord Narasimha, you are everywhere. You are the death of

death and I surrender to You."

(iii) Narasimha Gayatri (to increase our ability to help others):

"Aum Ugranarsimghaye Vidmahe

Vajranakhaye Dhi-Mahi

Tanno Narsimgha Prachodayat."

Om. Let us meditate on the fierce and terrible form of Lord Narasimha,

the half-man and half-lion form. May that great God, with nails hard and

strong as diamonds, inspire and illumine our mind and understanding.
