SALARY: R 196 p.a (Excluding Benefits) 608 POST LEVEL: 3 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree in Town and Regional Planning * Minimum of 5 years relevant experience of which 2 years' experience must be at Middle Management Level * Professional Registraon with SACPLAN or SAP * Computer literacy and a Valid Driver's license * Sound knowledge of Local Government Administraon. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Ÿ Organise personnel, control and provide guidance so that work can be done effectively. Ÿ Monitor and control the internal preparation of the capital and operational budget. Ÿ Responsible for the overall administrative function and support in the Division. Ÿ Proper planning of the functions and management of the Division. Ÿ Control the compilaon of Spaal Development Framework (SDF) for Matjhabeng. Ÿ Do needs analyses for different land uses Ÿ Invesgate the availability of land and movate land purchases and the release/markeng of land. Ÿ Movate and compile spaal development plans/policies/strategies for priority sub and or sectoral areas. Ÿ Make inputs to the IDP process and control the implementaon of IDP projects via the SDBIP Process Ÿ Make applicaon for and evaluate township establishment applicaons Ÿ Coordinate interdepartmental technical commiees regarding development project. Ÿ Manages public enquiries regarding development planning and render an advice service regarding spaal development Ÿ Facilitate the processing of new applicaons for development projects.
