Since window B is for display purpose only, it shall not be dealt with anymore in the following description.

After the initialisation, AV-Manager shows up the programme schedule (if it is set in autorun mode), or, if it is not, the control consolle only will be displayed; in “autorun” mode, the software loads the last configuration that has been saved and resumes the visualisation of the Play-List or the Time Table (if associated) closest to the start-up time.

Also this window presents the usual File menu where the options belonging to the target section “Open” (to open a saved text), “Save” (to save a previously created text), “Save as” (save text as) and “Insert into Playlist (insert the previously created object in the Playlist) are all contained.

Tools: Effect: on the text it is possible to apply different scrolling effects; scroll UP, scroll Down, scroll Left, scroll Right, No scroll. It is possible to set the speed of the effect through the parameter Speed. Scroll Stop stops the scrolling of the text when the effect is finished (not availa-ble with No Scroll); by setting the para-meter Sec it is possible to keep the text steady and visible for a certain number of seconds.

In the part “Aligment” text alignment (left, centered and right) depending on the window features is available.

It is possible to insert a previously created text through the keys Time and Date; the text, with various formats, is obviously the time and date. The key Temp displays the reported temperature (if necessary devi-ces have been supplied by Tecnovision S.p.a.).

It is possible to define the text font (Text Font) and the colour of the backgound (Back Color), and to activate the text ove-rimpression (by pressing on the keyTra-sparent) on a selected picture.

The key Stop Anim stops the visualisation

of the created object; it works both when the visualisation is on preview mode and when the visualisation window is effecti-vely shown.

Scroll: This window allows matching the previou-sly created text with one or more pictu-res in background. Through the key Add Image, you can add a picture (selectable with the Windows selection window) to a text, whereas through Remove Image you can take it out from the list; through Remove all, you can delete all the pictu-res inserted in the list.

The option Delay sets how many seconds the pictures will be displayed for; if you set 0, you have a duration according to the corresponding effect, whereas if more pictures are simultaneously present the effect will be repeated for each of them under the same time schedule. Ex.: delay 3: the two pictures will be displayed alter-natively for 3 seconds each, until the effect is finished.

Delay 0: the picture will be displayed until the effect is finished, after that this is repeated for the second picture

Monitor two keys are present for the simulation of what has been created; particularly:

Play on preview displays the preview in the window Monitor itself;

Play on Sign displays the simulation on the screen directly. In this case any image that is being visualised is stopped until the visualisation of the created object has been completely carried out.

Target: This option allows the object created.

An object created through Create text is presented here below- in the window Scroll two pictures that are visible during the text visuali-sation are inserted;- in the window Monitor the text to visualise with the corresponding back-ground (in this case blue) is placed;- in the window Tools all the effects acting on the text are displayed; down scrolling, speed 20, steady with 3 seconds duration, centered alignment , transparent text

The final result of these parameters is shown below.

It is important to remember that the picture must have the same size as the display window, otherwise it will not cover all the available space or it will be cut starting from the upper left angle (Create Text does not carry out the stretch and resize of the picture).

1.9 LOG File

As we mentioned in the paragraph 1.4, it is possible to make AV-Manager create a file summarising the objects visualised by the software and then edit it; this file is called LOG file. As soon as the 0.00 hour of each day is passed by, a new file is created, so it is possible to keep under control what AV-Manager has done day by day. The file is of *.txt type and can be exported to Excel format or any other Word Processor as tables. By clicking on the Log File key, it is possible to choose two options:

- to open the Log File of the current day; - to open the folder where all the previously created log files have

been stored.
