“All Telcos a

re fighting

for a place in the mobile

internet battle.”

Since youths contribute to a huge percentage of the online community in Malaysia, and since more and more youths are upgrading their cellphones to smartphones so that they can constantly be connected to the internet, Telco companies should pay more attention to what they have to say about their services so far.

Understanding what youths want, and using that knowledge in a profitable manner, is the key to penetrating the youth market.

We asked 250 Bumiputera youths, all over Malaysia, which broadband package they were using, why, and would they consider changing to different providers
