OUR VISION AND MISSION
VISION
To ensure that orphans and other children made vulnerable primarily by the HIV/AIDS pandemic have the opportunity to achieve their full potential in life.
MISSION We collaborate with families, children, community and community organisations, government, non government organisations and business to provide holistic care to South African children in distress thereby safeguarding the opportunity for orphans and other children made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS, to achieve their full potential in life.

OUR THREE STRATEGIES
The Hollard Foundation engages at three levels:
1. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOR HOLISTIC ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN (OVC) INTERVENTION: Midvaal Programme
2. PROVIDING DONOR FUNDING AND SUPPORT THROUGH OUR NGO SUPPORT PROGRAMME (NSP)
3. ADVOCACY AND INNOVATION - A LEADER IN REALISING SOLUTIONSThe Hollard Foundations measures success in terms of:1. Increased access for children to the fulfilment of their basic rights.2. Increased capacity of NPOs and the Midvaal Community to effectively deliver
services.

A) SELECTING THE COMMUNITYCriteriaThe foundation wanted to partner with: 1. A semi urban community2. No National NGOs operating in it 3. Municipality was willing to partner and play an active role in strengthening the response by NGOs and to play
a role in advocacy and innovations
Two municipalities were identified by Gauteng Provincial Departments, Health (HIV/AIDS) and Social Development -Kungwini
