Barriers/Obstacles to Adoption of Cleaner Production
• Lack of Institutional Support – Environmental Protection Responsibility – Spread over several institutions – Lack of Focus
• CTC – Very limited resources both human and financial • Non-availability of Trained Personnel/Technology Limitations• Small Manufacturing Units – Fear of innovation and perceived
high cost of Cleaner Production• Too much emphasis on Production and Job Security
