To accommodate necessary storm sewer, watermain installation and road widening activities the closures will be in effect overnight and during the weekend to minimize traffic disruptions. 1. Visit vivanext.com2. Click on ‘subscribe’
on left side 3. Under ‘email notices’
select the ‘Davis Drive/Newmarket’ box and any others of interest
4. Provide your contact info 5. Click on ‘Submit’

To accommodate necessary storm sewer, watermain installation and road widening activities the closures will be in effect overnight and during the weekend to minimize traffic disruptions. Please see below for important details.
main street north will be closed at davis overnight:• Wednesday, September 24 at 8:00pm until Thursday, September 25 at 9:00am*
Note: GO Train and early morning commuters, please adjust your travel-times accordingly and give yourself extra time to get to your destination. If you use Main Street please consider Leslie or Yonge Street as alternates
• Saturday, September 27 at 8:00am until Sunday, September 28 at 8:00pm*
what you need to know:• During each closure, through traffic from Main Street North to Davis will not be permitted
• Road closure signs will be posted in the area. Please watch for these signs and stay up-to-date about road closures at vivanext.com
• Please pay close attention to detour signs that will you direct you around the closure
• Directional signs will be in place to guide you to the nearest open sidewalk and/or bus stop
• There will be construction related noise with this work
• Once the road is widened, a gravel surface will be in place until curbs are poured and base-layer paving is completed
• Anticipated start dates have been provided; however as with other road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to factors such as weather. In the event that work is postponed, we will provide advance notice
