This summer Maidstone United Football Club celebrate five years at the Gallagher Stadium. Since the long awaited homecoming, the club have enjoyed three promotions in four years to make it to the Vanarama National League – the top flight of the non-league game. The home of the Stones is firmly established as one of the county town’s top attractions, welcoming thousands of people every year. One of the most popular leisure and sporting venues locally, the Gallagher is open seven days a week – thanks to the artificial turf pitch which enables hundreds to play at the stadium each and every week.

Growing the gallagher

Maidstone United is one of the best-supported clubs in non-league football. Average attendances have risen year-on-year since the club returned to the town. During the 2016/17 season attendances were around 3,000 on several occasions and the final match of the season saw a record attendance of 3,409. To meet the demands of higher crowds and leagues, the stadium’s capacity has almost doubled since 2012. The most recent investment saw the development of a new north stand, which can accommodate up to 1,768 spectators.

Main stand sponsorship

Six ad board positions along the back wall. These are 4.8 metres by 0.9 metres in size.

£25,000+VAT per year for two years

Built in 2012 and extended in 2015, the main stand has more than 700 seats. The upper deck houses two hospitality lounges and a boardroom, while the lower deck has seven rows of seats that are occupied by season ticket holders.

Family area sponsorship

Family area naming rights and two ad boards (4.8 metres by 0.9 metres).

£3,000+VAT per year

Built in 2014, the family area, situated between the main stand and changing rooms, has 40 seats. This area is where the club’s match mascot and his or her guests sit to watch the game.

£1,650+VAT per year for two years

Built in 2017, the Genco Stand can accommodate up to 1,768 standing spectators. In the event of separate home and away sections, the stand and the concourse underneath can be divided to cater for both sets of fans.

PERIMETER FENCE ADVERTISING

Ad board positions along the riverside fence. These are 4.8 metres by 0.9 metres in size.

With crowds of more than 2,200 a game, being open seven days a week and with thousands of visitors a month – advertising with Maidstone United is a smart investment. The perimeter fence boards give great exposure.

PROGRAMME ADVERTISING

A programme on match day is as traditional as pie n’ chips. MUFC magazine is the perfect companion to matches at the Gallagher Stadium. Packed with columns, interviews, photos and stats, it’s a must-read for home and away supporters. The A5 publication consists of 64 full-colour pages and, best of all, adverts can be changed regularly to coincide with special offers or promotions.

FRIDAY NIGHT PITCH HIRE

Whether it’s two rival companies battling it out or a group of mates on a night out – you’ll have access to the Gallagher from 19:00 to 23:00 for a warm up, game and post-match hospitality. This is your chance to play under floodlights, while family and friends watch and cheer from the stands. The package includes pitch hire, use of the changing rooms, referee and a post-match hot meal (for up to 30 people) in the Gullands Vice Presidents’ Lounge – we’ll even throw in a drink for each player to go with their meal (restrictions apply).

Pitch hire

If you’re looking for somewhere to play a standard 11 vs. 11 game, with clean modern changing facilities then the Gallagher Stadium is the place for you. The pitch is available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings 19:30 to 21:30 during July; Friday evenings 19:30 to 21:30 in July and August and Sunday daytime 11:00 to 13:00 or 14:00 to 16:00.

Depending on availability a bar will be open for the players afterwards.

Tournament stadium hire

For that bigger, football festival feel, the Gallagher Stadium is available for hire for you to host your own six-a-side tournament. The stadium is equipped with all the facilities needed – you just need to bring yourselves (and some footballs!). When you hire the facilities you will get the changing rooms, four mini pitches set up with goals, a PA system, burger bar and the Spitfire Lounge. The stadium is available Saturdays between 12:00 and 18:00 or Sundays between 11:00 and 17:00 through July and August.

Venue hire

The Gallagher Stadium is a vibrant venue in Kent’s county town — it’s the perfect place to host your event. There is a choice of five rooms (three overlooking the pitch) catering for one-to-one meetings through to theatre-style presentations or receptions for up to 200 people. All rooms have an abundance of natural light. We can serve up a range of refreshments. Our in-house catering team can provide everything from tea and coffee, through to freshly-prepared lunch and evening buffets. We can cater for all tastes and budgets.
