Economic rates are significantly higher in quantity and quality than those of other modes of transport.

The real export products, the North−South and theEast−West transport corridors for transit transportationthrough Russia, can be realised only on the basis of maglevtechnology.

The national technology “Russian Maglev” has been elaborated considering theinternational experience in creating maglev transport technologies, it combines usingelectromagnets and permanent magnets for creation of magnetic levitation transport system(MLTS). This technology enables drastic reducing transport system’s power consumption,optimising capital expenditures for its realisation and achieving high economic efficiency oftransportation compared to conventional modes of transport.
