We are a relatively young company, founded in 1999, but now with a mission veryspecific: sailboats production 80 ‘, carbon prepreg motor boats and 15 to 17 metersluxury.The facilities and staff were fitted immediately to deal with this challenge, creating a“Culture” of advanced composite materials and related processing technologies that over time wasbroadened and deepened.For example, the lamination “one-shot” yachts of 30 meters epoxy infusion with “post-treatment”in our “ovens”. The structure, know-how and technologies are not easily found in otherSimilar sites.

The activity of production to quickly joined the redevelopment activity for yachts and workboatsup to 260 tons. Even in this case, the structures have been adapted to this requirement: a local 2500square meters to 15 meters high; Travel lift 260 tonnes; handling truck 250 tonnes; dock35 meters long by 12 meters wide.

MAGIC YACHTS Magic Yachts was founded in 1999 by Wally Group.

Since it’s creation the Company is engaged in the Wally’s values: produce high performances sail and motor yachts with highest finishing level and innovate solutions. To achieve this mission the new site was equipped with the most modern technologies and with qualified personnel from various parts of the word. This team has helped to create a climate of excellence that still characterizes Magic Yachts.

In 2007, Magic Yachts joint Camuzzi Nautica Group whose reputation in the history of Italian yachts build-ing (Cantieri Navali Baglietto and Cantieri di Pisa). From this experience, Magic Yachts still acquires further know-how.

Since 2010, the high quality of its works loose it to expand its business in yachts and work boats refit, and became a reference in its field in Nord Africa.

In May 2012, a group of italian managers acquired Magic Yachts, renewing Francesco Campana as Gen-eral Manager.

For Magic Yachts, the continuity of management and its workers, with its important past and the network of relationship with the best italian shipbuilding, constitute the strategic aspect of its present and its future.

WHERE WE ARE Magic Yachts is installed inside of the lake of Bizerte. The lake of Bizerte hosted the French naval fleet until the independence of Tunisia.

Bizerte, in fact, is strategically located at the center of the Mediterranean.

The yard is within the Free Zone of Bizerte (Parc d’Activites Economique de Bizerte), located to 60 km from the center of Tunis and from its international airport, connected with all European capitals with one or two hours flight.

MOLDS

Magic Yacht has always realized internally the molds they need without any limit to the size.

The molds are made from the predisposition of the wood-ern model that is with fairing and polished.The mold is de-signed and carried out depending on the technology of transformation : wet lay up , infusion and prepregs .

ADVANCED COMPOSITES Prepreg

The technology is based on a stack of pre-impregned fibers industrial manner with polymerization at 95° .the impregnation is done with precise and consistent dosages.The composites obtained have high fiber rein-forcement and well -controlled rate wich makes them extremely powerful.With this technology ,composite is obtained very high quality that combine rigidity and lightness.They are sought for the construction of ships.

The yard is equipped with two ovens (36m long , 10m wide and 6meters high) temperature is controlled by computer with the possibility of cooking up to 130° ;the accuracy of the system is a 0.1 degree meadows.

The workforce is qualified,our yard produced there for almost 15 years of high-end composite parts.

Infusion

This technique consists of the installation of all the materials (fibers,expanded pvc …) to dry inside the mold suitably constructed for this technology.

The whole is enclosed in a vacuum bag and resin is drawn directly from the vacuum thus created.the ra-tio of resin and fiber is approching the optimal values of the best prepregs.With the infusion are made lighter,faster boats.Furthermore,it is a process that takes account of the new regulations in terms of safety and working environment.

The presence of the ovens allows us to use this technology with epoxy resin then being able to post-treat the artifacts at the proper temperature.Not many shipyards in the world that can boat this possibility.The photo above testify to the manufacture of a 90′ .

WET LAY UP

The technique with wich a liquid resin is added to a reinforcing fabric to obtain a laminate.

The lamination is always carried out for the vacuum eventual bonding of the foam of the sandwich.

CARBON LOOK DESIGN The yard is specialized in the construction of parts and accessories of series or customized “carbon look” with a perfect finish quality .

FAIRING AND PAINTING

The yard has the ability to machine fairing and painting of the highest level.The body is made with epoxy fillers.A room painting with ventilation and air conditioning (hot/cold) and special lighting for the detection of small defects.

CARPENTRY AND TEAK The quality of our manufacturing of carpentry are visible in the menu “production” and “superyacht refit”.All our machining teak are carried out with sticks under vacuum .

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

The yard is able to perform all the mechanical operations,hydraulic,electrical and the construction,repair,replacement:Canting keel,Magic trim,Walkways hydraulic,Electro-hydraulic ladders,ets.

The high level of specialization in the field and the artisanal quality of the workforce allows the construction in steel parts and aluminum support from engines to passaparatie to grab rails and pulpits,cleats,etc.

WALLY TENDER

An icon in the nautical world,copied but never equaled.All navigation units are built in Tunisia (more than 70 cs).An excellent finish,hard to find on boats of similar types,to give the customer what he expects from the prestigious Wally brand.The boat is fully built in sandwich glass and viny-lester resin vacuum.

Cabin,hatches,mobile bridge,bording door motor…etc,are constructed in carbon and epoxy resin.Fully bodied (topsides,deck,lockers,cabin,etc)with a full course of epoxy fillers and finally painted any color pleasing to the costumer.

The shipyard produces directly and internally all accessories in carbon look:air vents;steering wheel;alberetti door lights,toilets,pots,etc .

elegance,design and luxury are the specifics of this boat…Equipped with two Volvo Penta IPS 600 to 435 hp.the deck is equipped with a large table constructed entirely of carbon finish with carbon look and pro-tected by a large bimini also in painted carbon.We find a large owner’s cabin,a bathroom and another single cabin.MagicYacht has built models and molds for 21 boats .
