Since you have heard a little bit about the magazine, now it is time for me to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 20 year old girl from New York who has always dreamed of having a job I truly loved. Not only did I want to love my job but I wanted to be passionate about it as well. SInce I was a little girl I was always looking at the way people dressed and as a little girl thats how I expressed myself. I was the little girl who loved to go into mommy’s closet and try on her dresses and

shoes that were 10x too big for me. Of course growing up I wanted to be a teacher, a doctor, and a few other professions that seemed to be the typical profession, but it always came back to fashion. I decided at 17 years old to follow my heart and go to the school that focused on the business of fashion, which was LIM College and I could not be any happier. So now that you have heard a little about me, I hope you enjoy that magazine and get as much out of it as you can.

Just B You: The First Issue

Brigitte McLaughlin and I would like to welcome you to the first issue of my magazine. The magazine Just B You has been in the works for the past two years and I am so happy you are about of my fist issue. I am part of a boutique called Just B

Boutique, which is located in Staten Island, New York and it is a women’s designer clothing boutique that carries the latest fashion trends and what we predict will be the new

fashion trends. We carry designer names from Haute Hippie to Free People and many more. We love helping women put together new outfits and love giving advice as well. The magazine Just B You in unique because every issue will be different. The

first issue will focus on many subjects because it is the first issue and we want it to be all about you and what we think YOU will love. You will read about about favorite brands, trends, and much more. This issue is all about helping you with your

wardrobe, health, and

taking care of yourself. I think that all ties into fashion. Other issues that you will see after this will be for example issues like Just B Green, which will focus on all designers and clothing lines that use organic materials only, or Just B Fit, which will focus

on new work outs and ways to be healthy. The main focus of Just B Magazine is to help our readers turn their life style around, from the way you eat to the way you dress, we want you to live the life you deserve to.

Just B Boutique is a women’s designer clothing boutique that opened up in July 2007. The boutique was opened up as Tori B back in 2007, with two owners. The boutique shortly after suffered a split between the two partners. The owner Justine Pugliese

suddenly found herself with the successful boutique and now had more pressure than ever since she was now the only one running the boutique. The split was difficult, but the first move was to change the store name to Just B, after Justine and her daughter Bianca.

The boutique also changed it’s style as well, it went from having the typical clothes you can find in any store to having the top designers and best clothes and accessories on Staten Island. The boutique now currently carries names such as Seven For All Mankind, Hudson Jeans, Haute Hippie, Free People and many other known designer names in the industry today. The boutique was always an inspiration for everyone to dress better and have a better and healthier life style. This lead us at Just B

Boutique to want to create a magazine for our clients and women around the country to be able to get the same

experience that our customers get at the store. The store is located on 1578 Richmond Road in Staten Island, New York. We hope that you enjoy the reading the magazine.

Do you recognize this little fashion statement, well if you do, you are not mistaken, this fashionable skort has been popping up everywhere. This fashion piece, which I remember wearing as a kid has made its way back into the fashion world thanks to Zara. It has been on fashion blogs, on celebrities and has appeared on Guiliana Rancic during Watch What Happens Live on Bravo this past week. Guiliana Rancic was asked about her little

fashion statement, which was no coincidence. The white skort, which is now offered in other colors, has been carefully marketed by Zara and it clearly worked, since the piece is out of stock. I look forward to eventually having this piece in my closet and seeing what colors they come out with next, are you?

What is great about this piece is that you can easily dress it up or down. You can wear the skort to lunch one day with your girlfriends or out to dinner one day with your co-workers.

A current trend that will continue into the Fall is the Parachute Trouser. We just received a shipment of them at the Just B Boutique two weeks ago and I just can not get over them! There is something I love about this look, I think it is how it is baggy around the waist and gives off a grunge edgy look, but at the same time is so chic. Everyone seems to love them, which is also a plus, they compliment many body types

because of the way they fall on people. The parachute trousers on the top left can be found at Neiman Marcus, they are by Kaufman Franco and were originally $795.00 but are now on sale for $278.00. Who can go wrong with a trend on sale.

Lipstick is what I like to look at like the perfect essential to an outfit. Lipstick can change a look, it can make it more fashionable it can make it pop more. You can go out in a black garbage bag, put a color that pops on your lips and make it look chic, some may disagree but I think I have a point here. Some like to stick to the typical color they are comfortable wearing but my advice is to not be afraid of

color! Lipstick is the easiest was to add color to your outfit and make it pop, without having to worry about being so matchy! So take my advice, put a little color on those lips.

It looks like the 90’s are back! First denim outfits, then that skort, now this! The lipstick trend for fall 2013 is that brown, dark color we use to be crazy about in the 90’s. This fall you will see this color around much more. I think the dark brown and maroon colors are perfect for the fall, just looking at this color gets me excited for the fall and the outfits I can pair with this lipstick. Remember lipstick is

The Chaser Brand is one of Just B’s favorite brands. We have been carrying it in our store for years and the customers can not get enough of it. It is a hobo chic company that never lets us down. Chaser is known for it’s tee’s which are perfect with little sayings on them or pictures, as you can see on

Since I was a teenager I was obsessed with my skin and taking care of it. I think healthy skin is the key to everything, especially the key to looking 10 years younger. I also love the all natural and home remedies for skin care. Below is one of my favorite ones with Avocado, which is something we all seem to love lately. Here is the Facial you can get at home that I found on www.Dailygreen.com

Revitalizing Face Mask with Egg White, Cucumber and Avocado:

Makes 1 application1/2 cup chopped cucumber

1/2 cup chopped avocado 1 egg white 2 tsp. powdered milk

-Combine all of the ingredients in a blender until they form a smooth paste.

-Apply the mask to your face and neck using circular upward movements.

-Leave the mask on for 30 minutes, or until dry.

-Rinse your face and neck with warm water and finish with a cold water rinse.

-This mask will keep up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator if you need to prepare it slightly in advance.

customer to them myself. I personally think Ideeli has better price points over GILT.com. Ideeli also has an app, which makes it much more convenient to check out the latest sale on Ideeli each day!

The day that we have been waiting for has arrived. The royal baby has been born. According to E! News the royal baby arrived weighing in at 8 pounds and 6 ounces, the little bundle of joy was born on July 22nd at 4:24 London time. On July 23rd the proud parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate showed the world their first child. Both Will and Kate were wearing baby blue, and as you can see on the bottom, Kate wore a similar dress that Princess Diana wore when her and Prince Charles were leaving the hospital with Prince William thirty-one years ago. The young Prince was named on July 24th, Prince George Alexander Louis. The young couple who is extremely down to earth answered

questioned outside the hospital and took the baby home in their own car and Prince William drove his family home, which to me was such a great decision on Prince William and Kate’s part. Congratulations to Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge!

The flare jean is one that I personally love. It looks great are so many women, it even gives the girl who does not have curves a little curvier feeling, which is why I love them. The only thing is the flare jeans you will usually have to wear with wedges or heels. As you

see above, Kate Hudson is wearing flare jeans with rips in them that give her that edgy rugged look. But the flare jeans gives a dressy look as well, and you are able to dress them up or down, as you can see Kate Hudson dressed them up with her heels and blazer.

I love to always point out to people that fashion is not only just something we put on everyday to look good but it is a form of art. After just reading about our good friend Michael Mortensen’s hair salon, Visage, it has made us want to do a few pages on hair. I love getting my hair cut and trying out new styles. the next few pages will give you ideas of what hair styles look great and what hair styles to not do! Lets face it ladies, we have all done a hair cut that we did not look good in even if we do not want to admit it.

So here are our favorite hair styles of all time, that never go out of style.

I have to say, I always loved long hair, but there is just something about medium length hair that always temps me since I was in high school. I think medium length hair is the best style for anyone, it is not too much for anyone. My

favorite way to wear this style is how you see above with a little body to it and why not throw some high lights in there as well! Jessica Simpson’s hair style is always the one I have copied and I always get compliments on it.

Bangs, Bangs and more bangs. They are certainly popular haircut lately, but that does not mean they look good on everyone. Bangs I believe make the face look fuller, which is why when getting bangs you should pay attention to the shape of your face. Bangs are not

good for girls who are fuller faced, I believe they look the best on a tiny or heart shaped face. As you can see above bangs look very good but they are tricky!

The Bob was always a hair style that was popular but it became a fashion trend when Victoria Beckham started sporting it a few years ago. I remember being a little girl and telling my hair stylist I wanted the bob. I think they thought I was joking, considering

that I was only about ten years old when I first got it. You can bet I had it multiple times after that, and I am always tempted to get it again, at least my hair grows fast! It is such a chic hair cut and I will never get sick of it. The Bob is a staple hair cut in my book.

We all love fashion. . .But who loves a steal. . We do

What fashionista does not love a steal when shopping your favorite designer brands. I have to admit I never use to go to outlets or even want to give them

the time of day until recently. My friends have always spoke about Woodbury Commons Outlets and I figured about a month ago why not take a road trip and see what they

have. Well it was not so much but the Dior told me they were towards the end of their season and they were looking forward to a new shipment soon. The clothes I did

not think at that time were worth it because they did not much of my size and there was just something different about the clothing there. The fashion accessories and shoes were some of my favorite steals there. After going to the Woodbury Commons and finding some of my favorite sunglasses for half off, I find it very hard for me to buy my designer sunglasses for full price now. I found a pair of Gucci sunglasses for about $120, and they were originally $350. The Tory Burch store

was the most crowded but I gave it a shot and went in. Little did I know I would find the clutch from Tory Butch that I always loved. topic per magazine for 11 out of the 12 issues published a year. The next issue will called Just B Fit, the issue will focus on special work outs, diets and of course fashionable work out clothes and accessories that you can use while working out. This issue will
