‘‘Electronics & ICT Academy’’ is being set up atNIT Warangal with financial assistance fromMeitY, Govt. of India. The jurisdiction of thisacademy covers Telangana, Andhra Pradesh,Karnataka States and Pudicherry, Andaman &Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep UTs. Thisacademy role is to offer faculty developmentprogrammes in standardized courses and emergingareas of Electronics, Information CommunicationTechnologies; Training & consultancy services forIndustry; Curriculum development for Industry;CEP for working professionals; Advice and supportfor technical incubation and entrepreneurialactivities.
In recent years, we have witnessed a rapiddevelopment on applications of machine learningwhich has a significant impact on education,research and lifestyle. Machine learning is aboutdesigning programs that can learn without beingexplicitly programmed. It is a branch of ArtificialIntelligence in which we learn concepts/patterns/hypotheses from data by using heuristic basedalgorithms. This field has become so popular thatone can find machine learning applications invirtually all domains ranging from identifying emailsas spam or legitimate to automated vehicle guidedsystem to game playing to credit card frauddetection. To support the proliferation of automationand smart devices that are using machine learning,it is necessary to improve the state-of-the-arttechnologies in machine learning to achieve moreaccurate predictions.

Selection Criteria
Selection will be done based on first-cum-first -serve basis and the confirmed candidates will benotified immediately. The maximum number ofparticipants will be 50 (fifty). Additionally 10participants from industry are allowed to participate.The list of selected participants will be notifiedthrough personal email ids of the registeredparticipants.
