PROJECT AIM

To Prevent theft of transformers used for irrigation by farmers. In collaboration with Turkcell, Turkey’s leading telecommunication company and Kent, one of the biggest security companies in Turkey.

HOW FARMERS ARE AFFECTED

Theft of a transformer means;

Theft of whole of the transformer Theft of the copper plate inside the

transformer Theft of the oil inside the

transformer

In all cases, transformers are not useable anymore.

Financial loss may rise up to

10K Euros for a single transformer

Depending on the season, farmers can lose their crops, because of the lack of water.

Theft is common in all agricultural regions in Turkey especially in the cities which have less security solutions. These incidents are reported in both national and local media.

SOLUTION

System rises an alarm to the Alarm Center in any of the case listed above

Farmers can view their transformer via their mobile app.

An Agent in the Alarm Center calls the registered phone numbers for the related transformer

BENEFITS FOR FARMERS

Transformers are watched 7/24 and in case of an alarm, agents call the farmers

Farmers, whenever they want, can see their farm via a mobile app

Cameras can be located to view other places as well, such as warehouses, livestocks or barns.

Farmers do not need to hire a warden. Technology provides a better solution.
