Dear Parents,The month of September is coming to end in few more days. This month had been a challenging yet productive month for all the Kindergarten 2- Sincerity students. To summarize, the K2s learned about the process called Division as well as the story about “The Magic Porridge.” Most of them are in the process of mastering and performing and it is an excellent indication that your children are performing well. Thank you so much for your everlasting love and support. Meanwhile, please check our upcoming centre’s event below.

Kindergarten2 | September 2018

“It’s getting harder,” the students said. But division

was never been difficult for K2s with this “Flower

Division.” In order to have a better understanding

about the process, the children were given a

chance to have a hands-on experience of solving

division problems. Of course, two is better than

one, so they solved problems with their partners.

AESTHETIC & CREATIVE EXPRESSION

“Cook porridge cook!”, Stop porridge stop!”

These were the words that the magician said

in making porridge for Kim and her grandma.

Likewise with the children, they showed

mastery in delivering their lines during our

story dramatisation. They learned that in

order to have porridge in the pot, Kim must

remember to say “cook porridge cook!”, and

when it filled to the brim Kim must say “stop

porridge stop!” Excellent!


DISCOVERY of the WORLD

On this day, the K2-Sincerity students made a “Rainbow

Rice.” This was an art activity integrated to discovery of

the world where its main objective is to find out which

rice has a brighter colour; is it the rice with food

colouring only? Or the rice with food colouring and

vinegar? Based on our observation, the children judged

that the rice with brighter colour is the one that has food

colouring only. Well done K2s!


MOTOR SKILLS DEVELOPMENT


Get ready to make points as high as

possible! This was a shooting ball game

where each group were required to shoot

the ball into the basket. To win the game,

each member of the group has 3 chances

to get a point. Points that each member

garnered will be accumulated and the

group that has the highest score will be

the winner.


SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT


Kindergarten 2| September 2018

The K2 children had full blast of fun during our

game called “Blindfolded Man.” The goal of this

game is to let each child be more familiar of

their classmates/friends even they were

blindfolded.


SPECIAL EVENT of the MONTH


Spring Brainy Kidz @ Ubi celebrated the Mid-

Autumn Festival last 21 September 2018. The

school prepared some fun and exciting activities

like games for children, mooncake making, photo

booth, and the highlight of the celebration- the

Lantern walk. We are also grateful to all parents

who participated and spare some time for this

one of a kind celebration. Happy Mid-Autumn

everyone!


华语活动 (CHINESE ACTIVITIES)


这个月的主题是“种子”，我们学了种子的成长过程，在小朋友们的好奇心下我们亲手种下了种子，并观察种子一天一天的变化。大家期待着种子能够发出幼苗快高长大！

每天的户外活动是小朋友们的最爱，老师将小朋友们分成两组玩投球游戏，看！大家玩的多开心呀！

就要上小学了！大家在一起拍照留念。穿着毕业服小朋友们既开心又兴奋，但最多的还是彼此之间的不舍。在不舍间大家还在一起过来一个难忘的中秋节！
