Our thanks to all who led,
volunteered in, contributed
to, and took part in our
2014 All-Church Education
Summer Vacation Bible
School, Wilderness Es-
cape: Where God
Guides and Provides.
This was an experiment
for us, having VBS in the
evening, opening it to adults,
providing a meal, etc.
It was a resounding suc-
cess, and we learned a lot
for next year.
The children had a great
time and, as always, the
adults who taught learned
as much, if not more, as the
students.
Our thanks to director
Sam Kamler and all who
made this
year’s All-
Community
Educa-
tion—
Vacation
Bible
School a
positive

for Christ!

E M E R G E N C Y F O O D P A N T R Y N E E D S We set a goal of giving
$7,625 lbs. of food and hy-
giene items (including produce
from our Seeds of Faith gar-
den), to our local emergency
food pantry in 2014!
We have given 3,474
lbs. so far, or 46% of our
goal at 58% of the year.
We seek to help the peo-
ple who need our help in the
name of Jesus Christ with a
little extra food throughout
the year.
Food that does not need
cooking, small water bottles,
canned food, staple food,
easy-to-prepare food, dia-
pers and personal hygiene
items are much needed.
If you prefer, you can con-
tribute funds and volunteers
will shop for you. God is
doing great things at Faith
Lutheran Church.

THE VISION CORNER
What if we provided the funds to pay our
mortgage, support all our existing ministries, and
call an associate pastor and a minister of music?
What gifts and strengths would we want those
persons to have? What new ministries is God
calling us to do? Who could we reach toward
realizing our mission to introduce people to new
life in Jesus Christ that grows into enthusiastic
living?
Send your thoughts to [email protected] or call
them in to the church at 909 599-3978, or speak
with Pastor Berkedal or a
member of our Church
Council about them. Pray
about how you can help
realize our mission.
Matthew Jacobson hands out popcorn at our first Outdoor Family Movie Night.
