WHAT IS Fast Delivery Pulse?
"Fast Delivery Pulse" or FDP is a clinically proven method of hair removal or Photo-facials that reduces pain via its patented method of gradually delivering low doses of energy at high pulse rates up to 10 pulses per second to progressively raise the temperature of the sub dermal layer of the skin in a step-wise fashion. This results in high average power versus high peak power that can be unsafe, painful, and include unwanted adverse effects (i.e.) pigmentation changes. FDP technology is a combination of High repetition rate / up to 10 pulses per second. High average power, Effective skin cooling, Accumulative heat build-up (Pulsed-stacking) Short pulse duration, Low fluence, and In-Motion Pulse Delivery.
Why In-Motion Technology
The IN-Motion technology is a "Sweeping Technique" used by the V-Light IPL
that combines "Fast Delivery pulse" up to 10 pulses per second with concurrent
cooling with a gradual thermal rise to the target's therapeutic temperature,
without the risk of injury and with virtually no pain for the patient. This is in
contrast to the high peak energies used in traditional IPL hair removal and photo-
facial technology that requires high cooling before, during and after each pulse,
and requires that the hand piece remains stationary during the energy delivery.
The sweeping technique of IN-Motion technology enables continuous
administration of pulses in a larger treatment area for increased comfort and
fewer missed spots.
