The slopes around Nâves offer backcountry skiing and snowshoe hikes through the rolling, mountainous terrain.

Built on a gentle slope, the two apartment buildings were designed on a human scale, with structured lines, in which play with space and alternating wood siding and plasterwork create a trompe-l’œil architecture that provides the whole property with a visually discreet, timeless elegance. The stone used intermittently in the foundation walls of some of the 9 individual chalets that make up the rest of the property contrasts with the steel of the gabled roofs and handrails, thus providing a visual diversity that accentuates the authentic and bucolic character of the village of Avanchers.

Accentuated by the finest materials, nature-inspired colors and studied proportions, LUMI reflects at first sight the harmonious and contemporary architecture found in traditional Tarentaise chalets.

Crowned by the presence of the nearby slopes and Valmorel, LUMI fits in perfectly with the private chalets that surround it.

“Our team imagined an architectural design in harmony with the environmental characteristics and idiosyncrasies of the site: the topographic features of the lot, the traditional style of the neighboring houses, its exposure, the views, etc.

These inspired us to create private spaces that are innovative in terms of comfort, size, space and functionality. We developed two buildings and 9 chalets that blend into the site, with gabled roofs, varying dimensions and soft colors, all imbued with warmth, modernity and privacy. Here, every effort has been made to provide an unparalleled and totally fulfilling experience day in and day out, and to ensure you enjoy a unique and harmonious living environment, all year round. “
