C O O L C A M P I N GWe’re a smallholding offering a small site, limited to just 16 pitches. 1.5 miles away from the sea and Coastal Path there are great spots for climbing, walking, sandcastles or sur� ng (surf school are nearby too). The great atmosphere on the site is supported by communal � re pit and barbeque spot. Our eco toilet-“thrones” won awards for their prettiness + smelliness (or better the lack of it) and like the entire site they offer sea views. While at Loveland Farm you can also meet Bella and Shaggy, the water buffalos or our pigs and chickens. Eggs and bacon are for sale from time to time. Come and enjoy.

T H E P O DCamping in style + comfort: The airy, white geodome can sleep 6 in total, but is perfect for anything from romantic couples to relaxing families. The broad window shows views of stream and woodland meadow below. To add to the cinematic impact of the pod, you have a projector screen for private movie nights! After travelling the world fashion design studio Grif� n discovered this fantastic spot on their quest for sustainability. Near Hartland Point, on the border of North Devon and Cornwall Loveland is a place that celebrates simplicity.

The CO2 footprint pppn is only 2.63 kg based on the Carbon Footprint Calcs (resurgence.org/carboncalculator). This is still not offsetting our 2 acres woodland and 5 KW solar panels.

Jeff Griffi n began his fashion

career at the prestigious Saint Martins

College of Art and Design, started

working in Milan and then returning

to England to set up his own label

GRIFFIN. The brand built up great

recognition within the art and

fashion scene worldwide. It was

known as a high end, progressive

and ethical menswear label with

sports technology and military

infl uences. This led to a number

of exciting opportunities:

collaborations with renowned

worldwide.

After reading the book Self Suffi ciency by John and Sally Seymour, taking stock of the global environmental and economic troubles facing society, combined with the love for something different, including extreme outdoor pursuits and sportswear, we took a camping trip to the dramatic cliffs of North Devon and Cornwall. Here we found this incredible place, LOVELAND FARM on the Hartland Peninsula. A mix of beauty, nature, surf, art ists and peace .The mix of Griffi n design and its respect for skills and quality are in harmony with the outdoors lifestyle we lead.

A constant inspiration that feeds a desire to create a sustainable future here at Loveland Farm. It is the home of the Griffi n design studio, the camp site and the Eco pod. The pod encapsulates the

place where sustainabil ity comes first , the beautiful basics are encouraged and self-suffi ciency is something that we are continually working towards and aspire to. Our farm includes Asian Water Buffalos, Oxford & Sandy Black pigs, Indian Running Ducks, chickens and Alpacas.
