A Party Card Game for 37 Inappropriate PeoplePlay Time: 3045 minutes Ages: 14+

Love 2 Hateis a sometimes accurate, more often surreal game ofnishing sentences. The rules are simple, the fun endless!

Love 2 Hateconsists of two decks: Starter cards (with red backs)and Finisher cards (with black backs).

To begin, shue both decks and deal ve Finisher cards to eachplayer.

The player who has fallen in love most recently is the judge for therst round of play, and starts the game by drawing a Starter card.(Feel free to pick the rst judge some other way. Who are we totell you what to do?) When the rst round is over, the next playerclockwise takes a turn as the judge, and so on around the table.This continues until a winner is declared.

The judge draws a Starter card and then uses it to begin asentence. The judge can choose to start the sentence with either,I love the way or, I hate the way followed by the word(s)on the Starter card. For example, the Starter card Crabs can

be played either as, I love the way crabs or, I hate the waycrabs

Now the other players must nish the sentence. Each player picksa Finisher card from his or her hand and plays it face down (sothe judge wont know who played what). The judge shues thecards and then reads each complete sentence aloud. The judgethen picks the best card and announces the result. As you mightimagine, best in this situation is entirely subjective! The winningcard might be the one the judge nds most funny, truthful, orstrange. The judges choice is nal. No working the ref!

The winning player takes the Starter card as a trophy. The rstplayer to get ve Starter cards in this way is the winner of thegame! The number of cards you need to win can be adjusted up ordown for longer or shorter games as you prefer.
