    Lost in Dreams...

He was too much excited for getting the jersey of the team with his name on it.It was like a dream come true for him. He always longed about playing a game wearing the jersey of the team with his name on it. It was difficult for him to decide the game initially, but after thinking a bit he chosed soccer as in India you can't enter in a college Cricket team easily. He knew he plays both Cricket and Soccer equally well and liked Cricket too much just like every kid in India. But his love for jersey took him to Soccer fields. It was really tough for him toenter in Soccer team too as all the senior players were awesome and there was no vacancy in the team for the "midfielders". But the team had a vacancy for thedefenders. Team jersey again flashed before his eyes and he readily accepted togive the trials for the position. It was difficult playing in the new position but he always tried to give his best. His enthusiasm effected other players alsoand they too started playing extraordinarily well. He learnt alot during the selection process and so did the other players. Even after attending the selectionmatches and playing well continuously with the same enthusiasm he was not beinggiven a conformation of his selection in the team. But he didn't bother and kept playing without any depression. One of his drawback was that he spoke very less. There was a hesitation in his mind which stopped him from asking about the selection from the seniors. "Kya kahenge log" factor was always on the top of hismind. One day, a senior announced the dates of the inter college matches and asked everyone to give their names and Jersey No. they would like to have on their jersey

    s. He was just shocked and was very much happy to here that and felt very luckythat his dream was going to be accomplished. Now he just wanted to wear the jersey and run as fast as he can in the fields and shout and scream aloud.

That day he was very much excited that he will see the jersey and will be wearing it. As soon as he reached the field the Captain gave him the jersey. He wore it without any delay and started practising for the match which was about to start after an hour. He was very much happy and was in love with the jersey. He didn't bothered about the practise. All of his enthusiasm was over. He didn't concentrated on the match. He just wanted to show the jersey to all the near and dearones.

They won the match by 2-0 as everyone played well and so no one bothered about him not playing well. But the Captain warned him to concentrate as he had great expectations from him. The next match was to be the Quarter final on the next day. He didn't listened to the Captain and was lost in the dreams with his jersey. The next match they won by 1-0. The goal was scored at the last moment and everyone was too happy. Again he didn't played as he used to play in the practise. All of his enthusiasm was lost. He was less energetic than ever. Tha Captain scolded him many times during the match and he went in depression. Now he didn't liked soccer anymore. Somehow he was successful in ignoring all that was instructedby the Captain. The Semi final was against a really good team and the Captain had a great expectation with him for the match. But he didn't took any interest anymore. He also didn't knew what struck him suddenly. He tried to understand "What the hell was h

appening to him?" but was in vain. They lost the match. Due to his blunder the opponent scored the goal. Everyone disliked him now. Captain was depressed. He himself was depressed. He then thought what had happened actually. His aim was low which took him to a certain heightbut he could not achieve great height. He didn't do what he used to do when th

ere was a aim in his life. So, he concluded that " A person should always have aaim in his life and that aim should be very high"
