I took His hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, love, work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now; He set me free. ObituaryOrder of ServiceLoretta (Moore) Curry passed away on January 8, 2012, after a

short illness. She was born on November 26, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio. Loretta was the second of nine children born to the late Odell J. Moore and Mamie (Miller) Moore. She grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio and she accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Loretta graduated from Twinsburg School in 1951 and married her friend for life John R. Curry Sr. in 1952. There were five children born from this union. She graduated from the Jane Adams School of Nursing in 1955. Loretta began her nursing career in 1955 and was employed at Mt. Sinai, Forest City, St. Luke’s, and Suburban Hospital before retiring from the Cleveland Clinic in 1983. She was a natural born caregiver and the epitome of the working mother; she helped her extended family while raising her five children. Loretta came from a musical family; she played the alto

sax and the piano. She loved to sew, garden, play word games and cook. Loretta was a loving strong-willed woman and displayed her

strength for loved ones until God called her home. She left to cherish her memories, husband John, and her five children and their spouses, John Jr. (Ella), Steven (Vanessa), Cheryl (Reece), Charles (Carla) and Keith. Loretta will forever be remembered by her 13 grandchildren, Byron Curry, Bryant Curry, Richard Curry, Christina Billips, Steve Maurice Curry, Chariece Curry, Chaniece Curry, Keisha Curry, Kenya Curry, Renden Peery, Keith Curry Jr., Jasmyne Curry, and Cierra Peery; 8 great-grandchildren, Lopaz Curry, Bryanna Curry, Bryson Curry, Aniya Curry, Chariah Hodge, Camryn Billips, Bryce Curry, Kaylah Curry and sisters, Juanita Orr, Linda McDaniel, brother William Moore and a host

of family and friends.She was preceded in death

by her parents Odell and Mamie Moore, brothers, Donald, Charlie, Richard, Odell Moore and her sister Emma Jean Moore.
