Flipsnack FlipSnack is a page flip software that enables you to create stylish digital flipping books out of your PDF documents. It can be used to share or embed into your website, blog, documents, school portal/intranet.. How can Flipsnack enhance student learning? There is abundant evidence of the benefits of providing students with opportunities to give feedback to, and receive it from, their fellow-students students. Peer feedback particularly formative feedback, can enhance disciplinary understanding, critical thinking skills, giving students more ownership over their work. The main aims peer assessment using a Web 2.0 tool such as Flipsnack is to:

strive for a more advanced and deeper understanding of the subject matter, skills and processes How to use Flipsnack Very easy publishing tool…in 5 easy steps. Step 1: Go to http://www.flipsnack.com/ To create a new flip, click on the New Flip icon. Name your new flipbook

Note – A flipbook can only be created using PDFs. All work must be saved in this format before it can be imported into FlipSnack.

Step 2: Add your PDF Documents Click “Browse” and insert the PDF documents from your computer, flash drive or school network Click on the “Next” blue button to continue

Step 3: Customise your Flipbook Here you can choose cover type, color scheme etc.

Step 4: Merge PDF files In the Setting Menu Choose ‘other settings’ then select ‘ merge PDFs into one file’ If you do not select this option, each PDF file will be converted into an invidual book

Step 5: Choose ‘finish’ green button

Copy the link, publish/embed to the school intranet, class portal site, newsletter etc.
