1.1 The Platform: login

The e-Learning platform of Randstad is a system that is accessible from any computer with an Internet connection, at http://www.randstad-wlf-ifrs-elearning.kpmg.it/In order to login you must enter your corporate e-mail as your username and password in the fields shown in the picture and then click on the Login button. Please note: both the username and password are case sensitive.On your first login you will be asked to replace the generic password with a personal choice of at least 8 characters, which will be used for future access-

1.2 The Platform: personal home page

Once logged in, you will have access to a personal home page, like the one presented above, which will list all the courses which are available to you at this time. Each month new courses become available, and they will appear on this page at the beginning of each month.

Completed courses will no longer appear on your homepage. To view completed courses, simply flag Include completed offer and click Go

1.2.1 The Platform: My Training

The My Training section of the homepage gives you access to your personal reporting and to your transcript. The transcript gives you an overview of the courses that you have completed*.

1. To view your personal report, click on PERSONAL REPORTING and select 1 or more courses that you would like to view in the report. After selecting the courses, scroll down and select Use these filters.

2. The report will appear at the bottom of the page. You can download the report to excel format by clicking on the icon Download report XLS at the bottom of the screen.

1.2.2 The Platform: MyProfile

By clicking the link to MyProfile at the top of the page, you will be brought to your profile page where you can see the following information listed:

Manager: The manager to which your progress in the programme is reported

Function: You role within Randstad

Organization: The session to which you belong (for administrative purposes only)

User status: Your status on the platform (for administrative purposes only)

OpCo: The OpCo to which you have been assigned and which relates to the courses to which you have been assigned.

Group: The group within Randstad to which you belong

2.1 The Course: structure

Clicking on one of the course titles on your homepage will bring you to the topic outline of the course.

In general, the topic outline will consist of

• one e-Learning section. The completion of this section will allow access to the final test;

• the Final Test. You must pass this test to have a “completed” status for the course; and

• a completion certificate which can be printed and kept as a record of completion of the course and passing of the test.

Each of these elements will be discussed in more detail on the following pages.

Selecting the first activity (ex. “IAS 18: Revenue”) will direct you to the e-Learning section.

2.1 The Course: structure

The course is divided into different learning units as shown below. Units that have been started, but that are not complete are marked with orange. The units that are complete are marked by a green flag.

To access the units, just click on the unit title. In this example, the first unit is complete, the second has been initiated but is not complete, and the third unit has not been initiated.

When all units have the green flag, you will be able to access the final test.

2.1 The Course: structure

Once you enter the course, the same menu that appeared on the previous page will be displayed within a drop down menu at the top the screen that contains all the titles of the units.When you have finished a unit can click on the title of the next unit in the drop down menu or click the "Continue“ button to move to the next unit.

If you started a unit in one session and you are now returning to finish it, you will be prompted to resume on the screen where you last left-off.

2.2 The Course: lessonAt the top of the screen you will find:

- the total number of screens that make up the unit and the location where you are;

- screens already completed (indicated by a checkmark) and those not yet displayed.

Warning: The first time you go through a lesson, the navigation is restricted, so you cannot go to the next screen without completing the previous screens.

Sometimes, in addition to listening to the entire audio track, there may be mandatory Pop Up information which you much click on and read before proceeding.

This button allows you to choose between audio-only

mode (full screen image), audio + text to the side, or plain text

(the audio is muted).

It is strongly recommended that the audio component is

used.

2.3 The Course: Final Test

Once you have completed all the units of the course, you must return to the Topic Outline page to be able to start the final test. To return to the topic outline, click on “Exit Activity” at the top right of your screen.

Click the title of the test itself and then click on Continue.

2.4 The Course: Certificate

After you complete all the units of the course and pass the final test (passing grade is 70%). The certificate will download as a pdf which you can save or print out.

To reset your password, submit your username or your email address below.

If we can find you in the database, an email will be sent to your email address, with instructions how to get access again.

From the login page, click on the link "Forgotten you username of

password?"

Platform

In addition to the minimum technical requirements for the KPMG courses, to make full use of the platform, you will need to have JavaScript activated on your PC.

Operating System: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7

Courses

Integrated 16-bit sound card and speakers.

Screen resolution of 1024x768 and high color video display (16 bit).

Adobe Flash Player 10.0 (or higher, which can be downloaded from www.adobe.com); there is a problem, with 10.0.45.2 version. Please, don’t install this version.

Internet Explorer (version 7 or higher).

Acrobat Reader (version 10 or higher).

In order to ensure that the platform’s tracking system functions correctly, it is highly recommended that you uninstall any extra Toolbars from your Browser (i.e. Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, etc).
